I have managed to get a full 14 days battery life when using it as just a regular watch. That's when I had a 14 weeks break from training. When I do 4 to 5 days of training of 1 hour to 1h30mins in a week, my battery life lats me a full week. I am more than happy with this.

I do have a Apple Watch, the SE (iPhone 13 Pro) and i'm REALLT close to sell/give my apple watch to my brother and buy this GT 4. Its beautiful, the apple watch is nice and all, but the 24h battery life (tops) and the square shape mehh, i need somethig a bit less casual. Thoughts so far on the watch?

Just purchased the 46mm on shoppee as it was on sale.cant wait to try it on.. was using a galaxy watch 4 unfortunately it died while swimming in the pool and the battery life sucks.. hoping this watch would be better for me.

Is it possible to set which applications we want to receive notifications on the watch? For example. I only want to see the calls and messages I receive on WhatsApp, and notifications and messages from other applications are not displayed on the watch. This is my first smartwatch so I don't know.

I've just bought this beast of a Smart Watch, this is after returning the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 44mm back to the store for having such a louzy 2 days battery life.

Samsung has really let me down with the watch 6.
On another hand, its a big win for Huawei. I really love this GT4 46mm, it even sounds like a fast car, to us car guys. I am really feasting my eyes, and the way you presented it to your audience is quite enjoyable 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿.

I love this watch, but I'm finding it unusable because it takes my calls when I don't want it to. It is rendering my phone as useless.
Is there any way of stopping it from taking over calls?
I've heard there's no way of stopping it, short of uninstalling the app, which makes the watch useless.
I get the call on both phone and watch. So you choose which. Must be install or user.

GT3 Pro or GT4??
Look and material wise you cannot compare the 2, Pro 3 is a titanium and looks slick compare to GT4. But they both have almost identical functions.

Still unlike Apple watch you can't compose a message using the watch.
In watch GT4 no way to compose a message, however, using the Huawei health application you can use the quick reply.
But you can maximize the Huawei Health app to quick reply.
Yeah it looks great but software is sh!t ;) You can't even turn off bluetooth lol
BUT you CAN leave it unpaired to your device if you wanted.
If ever you want to use another device to connect to it, just simply unpaired it and connect to a new one.
The bluetooth of the watch is built in so if you want to connect with other device kindly unpair to other one and connect to the new one

Huawei watches are good but Huawei don't provide updates regulary comparing with Samsung,Apple!Huawei always release new products with new watch faces,a different Harmony OS version as this one number 4.Meanwhile the other ones released few months ago,as Ultimate in my case still have Harmony OS 3 despite to be a very expensive watch from Huawei watches.If Huawei don't provide updates,not only "system stabilization" as maybe 40 kb size ,I am not buying anymore .Samsung at least provide 4 years of OS ,at least we know...Huawei don't say anything about this,just release and release watches but without any support for the "old" ones!
I think Huawei is in the business of making long lasting good looking watches. I'd take 10-14 days of battery vs regular updates and 1 day battery...
Most features on smartwatches are not used anyways and they know that, so they concentrate on style and autonomy.

@ntchi They need to work on their sports related software in my opinion and maybe introduce some hrv tracking for energy reserves and other hrv related features & improve the gps accuracy, although the GT4 watch might be a bit better than previous huawei watches on the gps front according to some reviews.
I think Huawei is more focused on how their devices have awesome features and specs
