I’m getting married in October. Asked my fiancé our budget because he’s paying for it out of pocket. He told me 10k, I told him I think I can make it happen with 5-6k. We already own a home, but we want to do some upgrades and I want our money to go towards that more than our wedding. I opted for a wedding in a state park in Georgia which has a beautiful location over looking a valley. And they have a group shelter we plan on having our reception in. We are only spending $300 total for the location which is amazing. I still get to have a dream wedding, but for a fraction of the cost. At the end of the day, it’s not about the wedding day itself it’s about the union😊
