Juan Gabriel Pareja who plays one of the military people in The Mist played the character Morales in The Walking Dead TV show (He was in season 1 as part of the group Glenn/Andrea/Daryl/etc... belong to, he also showed up in season 8 and was killed by Daryl in order to save Rick).
I remember watching this movie the first time. That ending got me so bad. Best ending but I was just like......wow.
I'm meeting one of the actors this weekend. The guy who played Pvt. Jessup, is going to be at a convention in Shreveport, which funnily enough is where they filmed The Mist. I like that Stephen King loved the ending of the movie, and said he wished he had come up with it.
The ending in the movie is completely different from the short story. Good flick. ✌️
DAMN THIS FUCKING ENDING.
StephenKing praised frank Darabont for the way he did the ending and said it was even better than his own written ending, and the chemistry between king and Darabont is so good because of everything that he’s adapted before was so well done
Frank Darabont is one of only a couple directors that knows how to translate King's work from the book to the screen. His adaptions are just perfect.
@@carlaj9293 Absolutely. His are the only really good King movies.
I saw this in the theatre back in the day. The ending left all of us screaming and then we left in absolute silence
One oof the best horror movies, even Stephen King said the end of the film was better than the book.
The more I watch this movie the more I like and respect it after all these years.
This next to the Thing is the best horror hands down
the scene with the spiders exploding from the body increased my arachnophobia 10x permanently and to this day 😭
Carol, Dale and Andrea just before the Walking Dead
this movie's criminally underrated. when I first saw it I kept thinking "what's the most f'd up ending they can do here?".....they went all out to exceed my expectations.
Another legendary reaction to movie that has a legendary ending. Keep em coming bro
I was waiting to see your reaction to the ending...and still after seeing this many times I still just cried...I can't even imagine what I would do in that situation
I got chills at the end when I first saw this movie, the shooting of everyone then in minutes help is right there.
Super crazy! Glad to watch it with ya! Keep up the great work!
Leo, you might watch the sequel too. It's about a larger version encountered by a first generation Italian with multiple wives. Title? 'THE BIGGA MIST'
I saw this in theaters as a kid with my grandma. i was amazed by it
Great movie and fantastic reaction! Leo bringing that fire!!
Thanks for this reaction...glad you finally watched it. Such a sad yet great ending. Have to love Stephen King.
I been waiting on you to react to this without even knowing it...i saw this and was like YASS!
Most heartbreaking ending I've ever seen
The original ending in the book had them driving off into the mist into an uncertain future...
But this ending is WOW!!! I mean how does he live with himself after?
ohhh boiii so exitced to watch you watch this movie!
35:01 The Mystikal reference was great 😂🤣😭 I love this film & every character in it!
the most dangerous enemy arent those monster but the people , such a great movie ,
I was trying to remember your UA-cam name - and a day later your video pops up out of nowhere!! Glad to see you are still grinding man!!
One of the greatest horror movies of all time!
People don't catch it because you really have to have read the Dark Tower series by Stephen King, but the creatures in the mist are believed to have come from an area of Mid-World called the Wastelands. I don't know if it was intentional, but once you've read the Dark Tower novels, if you go back and read quite a few of SK's other novels and stories, you WILL find DT references sprinkled throughout. The Mist is definitely one of these.
One of the most heart wrenching endings to a movie.
Steven King's ending was different. But when he saw what they made. He gave a 👍 I like it
Leo you should do a horror movie for every day of October, it would be awesome. I know you're not the biggest fan of horror but your reactions are great to them! You're awesome sir!
I realize there was a hope vs despair theme going on in this movie. The mother from earlier held onto hope that she would find her kids and as we see she some how did and they’re all fine. While the main character gave into despair and had to pay the ultimate price for it.
That ending is nuts
You definitely need to watch 2005 war of the worlds. Excellent movie, one of my favorites.
The ending?!!!? The desperation is palatable.. So heavy... DAMN YOU STEPHEN KING!
It's not Stephen King's ending, actually.... Stephen King let the father and son live.
One of the greatest kick-in-the-nuts endings ever conceived.
I honestly had no idea that Dr Zola was dobby. That’s pretty cool
Also I always look forward to your reactions and when I saw you were reacting to this movie I got pretty excited. Thank you man you’re the best
