Fun Fact: Patrick Swayze was offered a cameo role as a zombie before his cancer diagnosis. His scene would have parodied other Patrick Swayze movies like "Ghost" and "Dirty Dancing". Zombie cameo roles were also offered to Joe Pesci, Mark Hamill, Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Bacon, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Matthew McConaughey. Also, Zombieland is a love letter to zombie movies. It embraces the fandom around it along with the troupes and "rules" of the genre. It's the zombie equivalent to the original "Scream".
Zombielqnd being its genre's version of Scream is honestly a *perfect* comparison It also came out at a time when the genre it was deconstructing was slowly dying out, arguibly revitilising interest for a few more years
I think it was in the DVD commentary where I heard Tallahassee was originally supposed to get overrun and die in the cage at the end. But test screen audiences loved the character so much that they rewrote the ending.
The theme park used for this movie is Wild Adventures in Valdosta,GA. My sister in law was working there when they started production. She met Jesse and I think Woody when they would set up at closing time.
i will never forget the first time i saw this and that scene at the beginning where columbus runs them in a circle at the gas station had me positively screeching with laughter on the damn FLOOR
The only thing that irritated me about this movie was. Why would they go to a theme park? And turn all the lights on and get on the right. Zombies are everywhere
I live 45 minutes from where they filmed Pacific Playland. The theme park is actually called Wild Adventures in reality. I was there two weeks ago! ❤️❤️
Of all the Zombie Movies to blend in comedy into the violence and horror, THIS movie does it the best. Because of the overall vibe of this movie (and its sequel) this is - for me - the best Zombie movie ever made.
Your channel makes living on this planet a little less painful...you , along with a handful of other content creators inspired me to start my own journey..thank you bro!
Now you definitely gotta react to Zombieland: Double Tap now that you’ve seen this. The sequel double taps on everything: the action, the laughs, the feels, etc. Please give it a watch.
Great reaction my dude. This was a Zombie movie done right and it was right in the middle of that zombie era where movies and video games were jumping on board, and this was such a cool and fun movie when it released. Not long after this i was playing 100's of hours of COD Black Op's Zombie and Dead Island on the PS3 😁
This is one of the most fun zombie flicks I've ever seen. Glad you decided to check it out! I love your vids! You gotta check out Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2, & Army of Darkness. Bruce Campbell is hysterical! Also, fun fact, part of Zombielabd: Double Tap was filmed where I live. You can see Ali's in the background.
The theme park they shot this at is located right outside of my hometown, Valdosta, GA. It's called Wild Adventures. I used to go every weekend in middle & high school lol. Back when amusement park annual passes were only like $50... Tallahassee, FL is only an hour and a half away, s/o to Woody lol
I love that you mention the best amusement park, Cedar Point. It doesn't get as much recognition as it deserves. Maybe I'll see you there summer 2024!!
This movie was GREAT and, suprisingly, the sequel which we got like 10 years later is just as good. Really hope we get one more before the cast is too old cause these movies are just plain FUN
I'm so glad you're still cranking out videos man. I don't usually comment, but as crazy as the world is getting? You seem to help me smile a little more. Just figured I'd share. Be safe and take care.
A year later and I'm watching your reaction to Zombieland....quite comical (the movie AND your reaction). BUT what caught my attention was you mentioning wanting to catch Halloweekend at Cedar Point. Cedar Point is just down the road a bit from me. So you knowing about Halloweekends at Cedar Point practically makes you my neighbor!! 🧌🧟♂️🧟♀️🧟🎃
One of the best movies remember watchin dis back when I was younger livin with my grandma u to be on FX or sum other shit keep it up mr video the beat doin it
I loved this movie more than I expected. Great reaction! I'd love to see you react to the movie Men at Work. Emilio Estevez, Charlie Sheen, and Keith David.
Leo, the goodbye line Tallahassee says to Columbus, "That'll do, pig," is from the 1995 film 'Babe'. The old farmer says that to the titular pig named Babe if you've never seen it.. The more you know🌈⭐😁😉
“As long as you don’t doodoo amber, ik what you like to do”😂😂😂😂
Also “Come quick!” “That’s what she said.” In the saddest voice ever made me lmao

Nice, cheers for that
THIS!!!
Zombielqnd being its genre's version of Scream is honestly a *perfect* comparison
It also came out at a time when the genre it was deconstructing was slowly dying out, arguibly revitilising interest for a few more years
Now I want to watch Scream
Now I need to see zombie Van Damme
The fact Zombieland and Left 4 Dead 2 came out the same year was awesome. My 12 year old self couldn’t get enough 🔥
the opening cinematics to l4d and l4d2 are etched into my brain, they are that fucking sick
I love L4D and L4D2!
Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 were awesome
"That'll do Pig" that's from the movie "Babe (1995)" actually one of my favorite movies lol
I think it was in the DVD commentary where I heard Tallahassee was originally supposed to get overrun and die in the cage at the end. But test screen audiences loved the character so much that they rewrote the ending.

First time I watched this movie I screamed holy crap wild adventures i have been going there since i was a kid
I remember being so shocked when Bill Murray popped up!
i will never forget the first time i saw this and that scene at the beginning where columbus runs them in a circle at the gas station had me positively screeching with laughter on the damn FLOOR
Cardio. Not just good for marathons. Good for surviving the zombie apocalypse too! 👍
"...As long as you don't doo doo Amber..." 💩 🤣
The only thing that irritated me about this movie was. Why would they go to a theme park? And turn all the lights on and get on the right. Zombies are everywhere
Because they're alive during this horrible time. Have fun.
Because you gotta "Enjoy the little things" baby and just have fun with it 😂😎
They wanted to do something normal, to feel human again.
It was a dumb idea for sure.
Definitely a stupid idea 🤦🏾♂️ and I’m a fan of this movie
Especially at night when almost anyone in the city could see the lights and decide to kill them, or worse.
"She told him her real name."
First reaction to this movie I've seen where someone actually pointed that tiny, but oh so important, bit out.
haven't seen this movie yet, but I'm just stopping by to comment for the algorithm lol

Shotout halloweekend at cedar point. Absolutely incredible times during Halloween there
"As long as you don't doo doo Amber....we know what you like to do"
Holy shit... I had to pause there. I wasn't ready for how funny that was.
I JUST bought a box of twinkies because someone else’s reaction to this movie got me craving! 😂
🤮 I can eat one and then they're are nasty to me. Lol
I never buy them but when I do I ALWAYS think of this. ❤
Perfecting casting for Amber in that small role 😂
Why?
@@claytheist6736What, did ya miss the whole "brained with a toilet lid" bit?
A.H. getting bashed with a toilet tank lid is one of my fav parts of this movie. I freakin' love this movie
Woody Harrelson is in Natural Born Killers a great Halloweeny movie. You even said it but with Zombie. Natural Born Zombie Killer! Great line!
Now you definitely gotta react to Zombieland: Double Tap now that you’ve seen this. The sequel double taps on everything: the action, the laughs, the feels, etc. Please give it a watch.
Agreed
Worth watching but it was just ok IMO
I totally agree it’s a sequel that is actually entertaining and not stupid like a lot of sequels.
Madison the MVP
Gotta check that one out too
"as long as you dont doodoo, amber. we know what you like to do." 🤣🤣🤣🙈🙈🙈

Another fantastic reaction my guy!
It’s kind of ironic that Amber Turd’s character got offed by a toilet lid…
THIS IS SUCH A GIFT!!!! One of my favorite movies!!!
Zombieland is such a fun movie! I loved this one so much and the sequel was pretty good too
Awesome Movie and Work Bro, Thanks 👍👍👍👍👍 Greetings from Helsinki, Finland 🇫🇮🇺🇸🇫🇮🇺🇸🇫🇮🇺🇸
My man!!! Keep up the dope reactions bro. Makes it seem like im watchin all these bangers for the first time again 🤙🏻
Such a good reaction! You had me rolling for a straight half hour and I needed it thanks Mr V!
I agree, he is a natural. One might say he's a Natural Born zombie Killer.
"come quick" -thats what she said made my day xD
Now time for zombie land 2 reaction ‼️
Patiently waitin for that Zombieland 2 reaction
I love that you mention the best amusement park, Cedar Point. It doesn't get as much recognition as it deserves. Maybe I'll see you there summer 2024!!
Legacy of this movie- “two of the lucky ones” was the first dance my wife and I had at our wedding reception, 8 years strong!
"That'll do pig" was from a movie called Babe. It's a cute one along the lines of Charlotte's Web or Gordy. All three are about pigs.
“Come quick.”
(“That’s what she said.”)
😂
I like how It's mr. Video double tapped 😂😂😂 @7:40
This movie was GREAT and, suprisingly, the sequel which we got like 10 years later is just as good.
Really hope we get one more before the cast is too old cause these movies are just plain FUN
Hope for a great charismatic human villain in the third one named after a city lol like Reno or Marblehead or Savannah
@@CharlieBrown20XD6are they making a third one?
Never watched this movie except in this reaction. But love your reaction to it.
Great choice. One of my favorite quotes was about stretching: “I don’t believe in it. You ever see a lion stretch before it takes down a gazelle?” 😄
Great line, but in reality, big and little cats stretch frequently.
I'm so glad you're still cranking out videos man. I don't usually comment, but as crazy as the world is getting? You seem to help me smile a little more. Just figured I'd share. Be safe and take care.
i´ve been waiting for this and i loved it.
You're a treasure, Leo. (*J*)
I thought this was the one in Vegas. I'd never seen this one. Fantastic reaction.
"I don't know if I should be asking that..." probably not 😂
Woody Harrelson is amazing in this movie he was my favorite. out of all of them.
one of my favorites. all-time. still haven't seen the sequel yet.
Yuo gotta watch King Pin with Woody Harelson. Hilarious
The banjo and the phrase "you got a purty mouth boy" is a reference to the movie Deliverance.
I knew before I started watching one second of this video that you were gonna love this movie
8:38 Don't tell me man never had done it just busy with work and working out 😂
Luke Wilson? Dude! You're looking at the cast list for Zombieland 2 lol
I remember you doing reactions in front of a TV, lol you came a long way bro.
Already laughing at the intro I laughed so hard at that part man in the movie.
I'm late as usual Leo. You're already on Galaxy Quest. Love ya!!!
Clicked on this video faster than lightning ❤ Love the reactions
*Youll LOVE Cedar Point!!! 100% pay for the Fast Lane passes. Worth their weight in gold.*
The part where we realise buck was tallahasees kid always gets me
"Happen to Me too" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
A year later and I'm watching your reaction to Zombieland....quite comical (the movie AND your reaction).

Cedar Point is just down the road a bit from me. So you knowing about Halloweekends at Cedar Point practically makes you my neighbor!! 🧌🧟♂️🧟♀️🧟🎃
My friend and I saw this opening day after a bit "too much" of the good green. We had a blast :)
Yo!! My dude, def from NW Ohio. With the cedar point references, im goin this weekend man
Abagail the little girl in Signs 😂😂- yeah she Bo 😂
Definitely not the last time I had it, but the most fun was either in a family member’s swimming pool or camping, trying to keep quiet lol
The credit scenes to both zombieland movies are funny asf
Love your vids!
Great zombie comedy, i can watch this over and over. Love this movie 🖤
Yes one of my favourite movies
7:40 😂🤣Happenned to me too😂🤣😂
I went to cedar point a couple weeks ago and i had an awesome time like i always do whenever i go there.
Just subscribed to your patreon my man I love this movie lol
This realization that Beau from signs is Abigail Breslin is Hillllarious!!!
One of the best movies remember watchin dis back when I was younger livin with my grandma u to be on FX or sum other shit keep it up mr video the beat doin it
Yes!
"Bill fucking Murray, I'm sorry i know that's not your name" 😂😂😂
You're goddam right Bill fucking Murray.
Leo…you gotta watch Babe. That’s where the quote “That’ll do pig.” Came from. Great movie
Zombieland 2 is even more hilarious
the beginning has me dying lmaoooo
8:40 almost 2 years ago in December on my birthday 😅😂
The theme park at the end is actually real. It's called wild adventures in Valdosta Georgia. I've been there dozens of times
Yes! This movie is awesome! Love your videos!
Best Zombie Movie Ever IMO

8:38 Father's Day this year. My baby mom was especially appreciative this year for some reason.

Bill Murray's cameo in the end credits of the sequel is epic !!!
I scrolled just to see if someone would mention this...lol... and it was an epic and hilarious sendoff for Bill in this movie series. Haha
Leo, the goodbye line Tallahassee says to Columbus, "That'll do, pig," is from the 1995 film 'Babe'. The old farmer says that to the titular pig named Babe if you've never seen it.. The more you know🌈⭐😁😉
A classic! 👨🍳 💋 👌
