I did that with my family when there were kids messing around near the camp fire.. accidentally threw one I duct taped to make a mini bomb. I yelled oh shit get away from fire (I added about 3 seconds extra fuse). Haha only the kids got away. Everyone was ok and nobody was hurt. Was very funny afterwards 😂
I also do the same thing, but I wait till the fuse is almost gone and throw them in the air that is the way to go. The only bad thing about throwing them is you can't control them I have had a few hit my friends and it just leaves a welt.

Those are my favorite Fireworks, the TnT brand is the best. Only one year I could find the 40 piece TnT's can't find them anywhere anymore. The first box I was hooked and went back and bought 50 boxes. I'd just chill on the driveway sip on some good Whiskey and just spend hours lighting them off. It's the little things in life!

Personally my fav fireworks to just light and toss when bored.
The TnT brand I made bottle rockets out of them. Tape to a stick and pull the fuse from side and stick thru bottom hole. They were awesome. I tried other brands but don't work. I can't find the TnT's anymore. Bummer. After my first box I went back and bought 50 boxes (40 piece) and sit in the driveway for hours, sip whiskey and just light them off. If I could do it every day I would!
