As a fellow Missourian and an experienced pyrotechnic, I'm glad that you're stopping by here. As what some of the other commenters said, we do have some ungodly amount of fireworks if that makes sense. 😃
I was supposed to take a road trip to MO so I could experience how y’all’s do the 4th over there and see how Springfield is in general Me and the wife are thinking of moving over there in the next couple years But sadly we didn’t make it this year😔 We were 1 hour away from leaving but we to many issues with our equipment so we just looked at it as signs to not go
@@kjb422 curious., it’s my understanding they can only be sold June 25th through the 4th and December 26th through the 31st.. I would be interested. Lol,, I’ve went on a road trip to Tennessee, came back with a trunk load and the backseat piled. Also I do some online ordering.
yes you cannot buy year round in nebraska like other states but if you were not planning on shopping any other time of the year or ordering online you could shop in nebraska so you don't have to make a trip elsewhere@@Twotimepyro
4:55 It cracks me up that Missouri is considered "Sasquatch Territory," because I live in Oregon and everyone acts like the Pacific Northwest invented Bigfoot.
Thats Missouri for yah, fucking awesome, they have firework museums there its crazy, hopefully Iowa keeps getting better, that store is kind of pricey but still its cool af, you wont find many gas stations that sell real fireworks anywhere else.
@@trinidadjames203 oh yeah i got me 2000$ worth of stuff and i looked up retail for each individual and it was almost double to get at tents local to me, definitely gonna go back next year tho i need more noabs this time around
Illinois has strict firework laws, but the law is so vague and confusing that nobody knows how to enforce it let alone get a successful prosecution. The law doesn’t outright ban shells and cakes so you can buy them in-state. A growing number of municipalities are allowing cakes and mortars because the law is so vague.
On another note, the people who run the firework stands are actually AGAINST freeing up firework laws as it would cut into their profits when major retailers move in and the major chain stores start carrying “the good stuff.” My neighbor opens up 50 plus stands every year and he spent 250k lobbying against more lenient firework laws.
82 degrees in Missouri in November?! I'm surprised you didn't go to the fireworks superstore in Hannibal while there. The Backyard Fireworks guy lives in Missouri and has a video where he lit the Fear In My Enemy's Eyes cake. And I was hoping Moon Nuggets would've been one of the demos done at the end. I'd like to see how that many shots can be in that size cake. Maybe in your next video?
North of my town of Green Bay Wisconsin, has 2 gas stations that sell fireworks!! My main store, is Red Rocket / SHELL.. Gas station even sells some, but there's a gift shop / fireworks store The Red Rocket next store. I also go to Boom 92 in Green Bay/ Ashwaubanon!!
Cody you should go to this place called Mel’s in brimley michigan it is in the UP and has some fun and awesome stuff in it including things like a 750 shot Saturn missile and 1000 firecracker roll
I can imagine such an emergency would be Ron Pratt’s worst living nightmare in his almost 40 years of experience as a tow truck operator who also happens to be a Missourian
Shelton Fireworks has a bunch of vintage cakes. Shelton's is literally just a giant vintage firework warehouse. You should pick up a bunch of stuff from there
@greenhawk_1495 I've been looking for a 200g cake called hurricane Georgia from Sheltons which is not make anymore nor do they have any at the warehouse
I just cleared out my store to store it for next year. You're about 40 minutes north of me. I'd You're still in the area I know what places are open and where you might want to look. Most stores are closed this time of year.
The Midwest is the holy grail for fireworks. Missouri, Nebraska and South Dakota do it best. If you are ever in eastern Nebraska stop at twisted thunder.
Careful with those "Dragon Spits Fire" fountain We used to carry those through that Ghostly fireworks store. If you accidentally light the main tube backwards with the fuse under the paper it makes a big boom. Looks like they may have changed the design though.
As a lifelong missourian, except for all 2 big cities the roads are littered with adult stores, Jesus billboards, antique malls and fireworks stores. And yeah the weather here is weird. Welcome to misery, i mean, missouri.
Nice selection. 👍 So, did you tell the guy behind you (with the water), hand it over, I got this? Just something I probably would have done. Thanks for the sic channel. 🤘🏼✌️🔥

I’m in Nebraska. We hit up Missouri a couple times a year. If your ever in Warrenton Missouri check out wholesale fireworks warrenton fireworks.
Are they open year round??
If you do some digging Nebraska has some great places so you don’t need to go to Missouri.

Cody! You need to go visit the Hannibal superstore again. That place is just amazing!
I’d love to go back!
Very cool firework shopping 🙂

the 100ft fountain was sick!
Growing up we'd go over the border to Missouri all the time for this. Spring pilgrimage to Rock Port load up and head back
Plasma gun was my favorite. Simple, but does it so very very well! That was SO bright. I'm hoping to get some now.
missouri has ungodly amounts of fireworks, we love that shit 😂 not to mention the superstore in hannibal which every pyro knows about.
I wish to trek there one day to worship at their doorstep!
I fucking love that place. It's my safe space haha. Prices are really nice too.

Fr like this man every year inspires and makes me buy fireworks on off season 😂❤
Man, I really want a case of those Plasma Guns. Really lived up to the name.
So did One Big Boom!
"Really nice for it's size"
THATS WHAT SHE SAID!!😂😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉
That’s the reason I’m in the comment section 😂
Boomland in Charleston and Benton, MO tout themselves as the world's largest firework store. It's near the bootheel of Missouri.

I love stores like this that has tons of just random fireworks
ROLMAO love that Last 1 WOW . SKK .
CODYYY DA GOAT
I wish California would let up on their firework laws
At least you get fountains us in new york don't even have that lol
Rally your friends and family people need to start voting different
If California had this, they would be over taxing it... for example, he spent $400 in California the price would be $1400😅😅😅

Yuh, I remember one.
It has a Little Ceasers in it. This I think: 3285 Cedar Hedge Ln, Green Bay, WI 54311
Come back in June just after Father's Day. Stop at Watson fireworks then a lil farther down in Rockport .
Ive taken a leak in that gas station a few times
Neat selection. Loved the plasma torch 🎉

A gas station in the same lot as where the fireworks are being sold sounds safe to me😂
BOOM
Trex has a large amount of gas stations and most have tents on the 4th. I'd have to check but I think you have to be 500 ft away from a Gass pump.
Yeah, can you imagine the endless posts on Reddit of “What could possibly go wrong building a firework store next door to a gas station?” ? 😂😂😂
I can imagine such an emergency would be Ron Pratt’s worst living nightmare in his almost 40 years of experience as a tow truck operator who also happens to be a Missourian
Worst spot to have a firework shop"gas station"😂 just a little spark would do it 🎉🎉🎉
Place isn't too far up the interstate from where I live really cool to see you somewhere I've been to!
Been to this Trex fuel stop a few times. Fireworks antiques and soon pretty decent grub
Ghost bangers? Sounds like a movie i watched once
Cody, I looked around and One Big Boom is by Fireworks over America
Cody! I was just at that gas station stand 2 weeks ago! Love to see it! 👍👍👍
Those cakes there at the end were all really good!

I don’t think there was a brand on it! But if I had to guess I think it’s Showtime or FOA brand (Fireworks Over America)
@CodyBPyrotechnics
Thanks man!
@ReneeNme
I wonder if it's a sub brand of Big Fireworks, since that place seemed to have a whole bunch if their products.
