The high opinion, low commitment guys are the same personality that you find calling into sports radio and they’re always saying we need to do this, and we need to do that, and this guy needs to do this and this coach needs to do that. Lifelong backseat drivers no matter where they’re going When I come to channels like this or any of the other dozen channels that I watch and subscribe to my mouth is shut and my ears are open because you guys know more than I ever fucking will. I want to absorb all the little nuggets and that I can improve my shooting. That’s it that’s my goal. I’m not a pro. I’m just a dude that likes to shoot. I’ll never be as good as you guys cause they don’t have that kind of time, but if I can get to the peak of whatever my range level is, I’ll be happy.
@BenStoeger187 People will only learn if Ben & Matt are more toxic, and I’m here to learn. If toxicity is the only way to get the point across, I’m all in!
Let me guess....you are a world class "operator" who is an expert on everything and is qualified and entitled to pass judgement on everyone. Awesome. Now go back to your mommy's basement and stick to video games.
Just had a guy tell me that crossing your feet doesn't work in the tactical world. After watching the bar hop drill. It's like ppl hear something and run with it instead of trying it themselves. They think about tripping on a pebble and it taking them out of the fight 😂
I’m convinced that those people just have never done anything athletic in their lives. If you have a history doing physical things, especially at an organized & competitive level, you have a much better understanding of seemingly basic things like footwork & movement.
I generally like Matt but occasionally he has complete boomer takes. Like recently he had on his IG story that people shouldn't wear Peltors to the range and should just go get electronic in-ear ear pro. Why am I going to spend like $400 on decent in-ear ears when I got these issued for free? Just cause the internet personality said so? Nah, I'm good grandpa.
He seemed real mad about any kinda foregrip/hand stop on the underside of your handguard the other day. Doesn't bother me that he's that opinionated about it but it seems a little exaggerated. Dealing with a bunch of dummies in this industry over a couple decades will probably do you that to you though I guess
He was clowning people for rocking the boom mike to go shoot bill drills on the flat range which is undeniably cringe and for nothing but attention. And he said get foamies not $400 in ears
@@somethinganything4864being a little bitch comes with everybody's mindset today, same way the mic comes with the peltors, doesn't mean you need to bring either one when you go train 😂
We need more Matt and Ben duo. Like a lot more. Too much bullshit in this ego driven industry that ignores performance on demand and pressure. The lack of innovation comes from amateur shooters watching SOF guys shoot and regurgitating that nonsense because they don’t know any better.
Listen to the principals he conveys. Some people in the comments are upset that Matt bashed the use of vertical foregrip on rifles as being unnecessary. After having my own challenges in matches with these grips I have since done away with all foregrips and have noticed improved performance in various shooting positions because of this.
If you put all the context in, you reduce engagement. When you need engagement to pay your bills… you do things that lead to more engagement. Like leave out context.
He'll probably ask what are your thoughts? Does that guy sound like he's making sense? A lot of the bs trainers are preaching crap based on a unit plaque and very surface level analysis of what they are pushing.
Well said. I'm trying to make my training matter cause ammo is expensive and time is finite. Came across Ben's video called "Talking about your grip is making it worse." Totally changed my thinking about shooting hand guns. These guys talk and talk and are so technical that they will have you chasing your tail forever and never improving. It's a practical skill. You have to embrace your intuition and experience.
Ben and Matts approach to shooting IS the way to learn. All these extra details and techniques have you adding extra inputs and chasing tail which destroys accuracy and repeatability. Simplify and focus on the task; shooting fast and straight.

These days, I only want to talk to people who are toxic. If it’s not offensive it’s probably a lie.
@billdrill22 if I hadn't been around enough people who are completely wrong while also being toxic, I might agree.
I idolize Pranka and Stoeger.

Totally changed the way I approach shooting in general.
i've gotten more out of this channel in the few months i've watched it than i have out of the 3 years of watching other guntubers.
These 2 talking is superb. More videos with Pranka is always a plus

Asking questions and challenging b.s. is “toxic”?
To weak liberals.
To some yes. Challenging times when people lose their minds over expression of opinion. Really bad control issues out there in the wild.

What are Pranka’s thoughts on Kyle Morgan

Interesting he came from the same unit as Matt but he’s doing things completely opposite to Matt and it doesn’t make sense.
“High opinion, low commitment” Basically politics these days. Strong opinions with little effort in research or critical thinking.
I feel like a Pranka is what you get when a Howe decides to commit to competition.
Worse are the guys who don't train and don't even own that many guns but their knowledge comes from Video Games and Movies.
think the lesson that we need to learn is that so many people suck and will always suck
