Bedlam is an amazing record. However, live, Thomas really overplayed the Theodore stuff, and wasn’t a very musical drummer. The potential was there, if they rehearsed more they probably could’ve figured it out.
wasn't sure if he was talking smack on Elitch or Fleming for being racist and stuff. Was guessing Fleming, but he seems super cool on facebook...never talk to elitch tho
@@Whattheheckdude02 I'm not trying to slight Juan, he's a fantastic musician and everything, but there's more to people than what they think they let on. Juan talks like he wants to be accepted and perceived as the shit so much so that he is entirely too agreeable and says what he thinks people want to hear. Believe me, he's my favorite bassist too, but ever stop to wonder why Omar even chose the word sociopath? It's called deflecting. Omar isn't a saint either and he's earned his reputation for being pretentious
RIP IKEY AND JEREMY WARD. He was such a part of their early sound. Especially live.
Juan is good people, I'm glad he got in this gig and followed thru with Music.
Juan, you are my fuckin hero man. You fuckin held it DOWN for TMV!

Thanks! Anyways I love all of the music that has come out from the core!
Omg this is so informative.
Juan is such a cool guy

Heard that! One of the best rhythm sections of modern rock.
I love Juan

My favorite mars volta albums are the ones with Thomas Pridgen, Juan is just petty jealous or something.
Thomas was a sick drummer. I liked the heavier shit on bedlam
