Like he said, it’s probably in the garage most of the year. My opinion, a more useful tool for team tournaments. As always stay safe, tight lines and stick your PB!
People who have a problem with this haven't seen how advanced fish finders /live scopes etc are. I was on a guides boat and we was jigging fairly deep 30-40 ft. And I could watch my lure as i bobbed it up in down at the perfect level where it said the fish where at. Another time we pulled into a cove, he switched to a different view made a few circles and said nothing was in there and we left. Moved to another spot, made one round, said yep and we caught fish as quick as we could get them in the boat. Now that was catfishing not bass fishing but the point remains that with stuff that advanced this flogger is basically barbarian and it's not even electronic. Imo they should have tournaments where they are only allowed a 100$ or less basic fish finder/depth gauge.
Yes. Bass on beds are not sport. If you are hungry, go ahead, but a big bass taken from their spawning bed is not a trophy, it is meat and not sporting. If it was sporting, then why don't I count all those 6 pounders I caught when I was a child? It was easy pickings, and I was too little to understand that i was making a mistake.
When I was a kid I used to do it. Caught the biggest bass of my life then. It's illegal to fish beds here and we have a short nesting season. I should probably only talk about my own waters in Georgian Bay though. Down south you guys have a longer bedding season, and I don't know anything about southern waters. It just doesn't feel sporting to me.
Nothinv wrong with tournament flogging. They should close bass season during the spawn though. Finding out who can corner the most vulnerable, nesting bass makes for a shitty tournament that is bad for the fishery, and for the sport.
Using a flogger during bedding season is cheating. I don't mean disrespect, but that's the truth, if you think it through. Even I can catch a trophy doing that. Flogger caught fish on spawning beds don't count if you respect the fish, the sport, or yourself.
Ok, fair, but that is not what I mean. Bass on beds have one job, protect eggs. If you are hungry and need meat, go ahead. If you are fishing for sport, bed fishing is not sporting. Keep your flogger, use your sonar. Fishing bass on beds is for children who are basically cheating. Even I can catch a trophy doing that. Let them spawn. If you are hungry, anything is allowed, law be damned, but thats not sport, thats feeding hungry people, and if that what you are doing, God bless, eat and be well.

It's a pretty cool yet simple tool!
@@BASS365 agreed!

I respect the game
Rename it the Cheater
This is the equivalent to going to a deer farm and hunting inside a pen.

@@ryanbuckley3314I mean it is pretty fun catching smallies of beds. I doubt you would just drive past one

Should be banned for tournaments.

Glass bottom boat?
Time to call the flex tape guy 😂😂
Would ice fishing camera work too ?????just asking I'm a northern bass guy lol 🤣
It could be a illegal tool, not sure don’t take my word on that but it could be a possibility. I use it for North Dakota smallies all the time
Couldn't see nothing
Been years in the garage

May as well rip out all the fish finders, too

It’s a cheat tool. If y’all wasn’t making big money, y’all wouldn’t use it. It’s garbage fishing.
"Using a flogger is cheating!"
Hurr durr, and using boat sonar isn't? Whatever works to get the job done pal.
