@@DevDude2023 you’re right last year was an embarrassment. Texas and Alabama both looked like they we’re not expecting to be there and forgot to prepare for the game
They left Georgia out bc they would have won it. Complete trash. Michigan had an elite QB and it’s the first time in a long time they competed after years of getting stomped after getting in playoff with cupcake big 10 schedule. Oregon hasn’t played anyone. Oregon not traditional big 10 so I’m not hating on them but who have they played
SEC has dominated the championships that's why. When the big 10 can win 4 or 5 in a row you'll see the bias change. This is also a new season....just fyi
Am I wrong in writing that the Big 12 and ACC refused to take 2 auto bids, since that meant that the SEC and B1G would each get 3 auto bids? That never made sense to me since the SEC and B1G were almost certain to get at least 3 each.
This is what I expected from an organization controlled by the SEC. Instead of playing fair, they have made sure they will walk away with the most money. The idea of a national playoff is to determined who the champion is. If you can't win your conference then you are not the best and shouldn't be in contention for the national title. The playoff senario should be all D-1 conference champions in a bracket and go from there.
I just can’t wait until these power puffs get in the playoffs and each one of them gets steam rolled by the SEc and it’s nothing but SEC semi and finals and quarters. Then they’ll all shut up
I feel like an expanded playoff is a step in the right direction. I have been wondering how the NCAA would include conference bias in it and it is now playing out in front of our eyes. Hopefully the NCAA keeps taking additional steps to make it fair but until the NCAA stops worrying about keeping a handful of brands happy and runs this like an actual semi pro league (which is what it is now) there will always be turmoil. Anyone who is a fan of a team outside of the SEC and BIG conferences is really sick of this at this point.
Army/ND game is basically an elimination game. No way ND gets in after losing to 2 G5 teams. The XII is fine. They’ll get a team in. As long as the champ isn’t a 3 loss team. One of them will be ranked at least #25. Scrap Washington State, they’re likely a non-factor now. Instead consider 11-2 Tulane and 12-1 Army as contenders to bump a 10-3 Big 12 team.
Army won’t be 12-1 when the committee reveals their final rankings. The Army/Navy game is the week after conference championship weekend.

The other 7 are at large bids
