Enter the Dragon is chosen in US film archive few years back because it has valued to be national treasure for generations to come. Its museum piece.

It is an incredibly produced and directed film. Very few films stand the test of time like this one. Goes to show quality beats quantity everytime.

I always wonder what Bruce's life would have been like if he had lived. His visit with us at the time was short and he continues to ride the Divine Wind. 50 yrs next month and in his honor, I will light 50 candles and play his movies for 50 hours. Rest in Peace Lee Jun-fan.

Fascinating! This movie still gets me excited. With the 50th anniversary edition coming out, how cool would it be if they were to show it in theaters? This must be done.
Mimstudios my friend Hector Martinez and I are planning a screening in Manhattan on the 50th anniversary of ETD in August if we can pull it off... We will keep everyone in the loop as we find out for sure! He wants to screen the 35 MM print that he owns on the Big Screen once again in all its glory! Just been to see the 50 anniversary edition OF Enter The Dragon 🐉 on the cinema and WOW I loved every minute of it . From the first time I watched it on my grandma’s black and white TV set as a kid and was BLOWN AWAY by this amazing man who instantly became my boyhood HERO I’ve been hooked on Bruce Lee . Being able to experience him on the big screen was unbelievable…the man the LEGEND Bruce Lee 💯❤️🐉

Man I wish I was around when Bruce Lee was teaching. I am old-school taekwondo. Bruce Lee was my idol when I got into the Martial Arts. I would watch Bruce using the nunchucks over and over and over until I master the chucks just like Bruce did in his movies. Thank you Master Lee you was the reason why I got into the Martial Arts.

Same with me studied wing Chun little taekwondo, some JKD fitness training, etc. he is still the greatest of all time continued enjoyment on the channel and thanks for commenting and subscribing. How do you make the greatest Martial Art film of all time even more epic. Simply put in some more footage of Bruce. All films are edited down for pacing and running time. But after 50 years of waiting, I don't think fans would mind seeing extra footage regardless of quality. When they done the Richard Donner cut of Superman 2, they had to use Christopher Reeve screening testing with another actress playing Lois Lane. It does stick out like a sore thumb, but the film is complete and you can see what was trying to be achieved.

Back then (1973) I did notice there were some weird cuts in the film. Thanks to you, now I know why. I also was wondering for decades about that photo of Lee holding this book I had never heard of (a Chinese print judging by the binding side). Again, you just solved that mystery for me. Good work.

Wish this anniversary screening would re-create the magic of the seventies where the crowds would lineup for hours just to get a ticket. The line would generally extend beyond the theatre premises on to the roads. Such was the charm of Enter the Dragon.

Thanks for sharing these out-takes & alternate takes here, Charles, this is, of course, the kind of stuff Warner Bros should have been including (in cleaned up, best quality available form) on the upcoming 50th anniversary 4K edition of Enter The Dragon. I'm more than a little disappointed with how little effort WB has apparently put into making this release truly special. Do you happen to know, or have any idea, who has the original film of these scenes? It would be cool to see them in better picture quality.
Totally agree with you very disappointing to hear Warner Bros. has put in such little effort in making into the dragon 50th anniversary box it even more special by including outtakes like these into the box it and created an Enter The Dragon expanded edition. We saw ETD in the cinema last night. A few of us went. It was nice to see Bruce on the big screen. So sad to think what was just ahead had he lived. His career was about to explode here in the States. He would have made some great films. I saw a youtube video earlier that had a short shot of Linda, Shannon and Brandon walking outside of Butterworths Funeral Home in Seattle. I had never seen that piece of film.

WOW! Charles well put, I even went back and watched it a second time.I learn about Bruce Lee cause my mom watched the Green Hornet. I learned about Jim Kelly through watching Jim Brown and Fred Williamson. I learned about John Saxon mostly from the series the SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN.

@@CharlesDamianoBLC I'm 57, first saw one of his films when i was about 12, i think it was Enter The Dragon. Then started doing KungFu when i was 15, bought his old GungFu book, then later his Jeet Kune Do book. Read and watched everything i could find about him :)

Incredible stuff Charles! I never knew about Lee’s character being an author! I heard somewhere that he was so nervous about making the film, that the filmmakers had to shoot a lot of stuff around him before he was ready lol

@@CharlesDamianoBLC first introduced to Mr Lee when “Enter” was in the theaters in 1973! I was four years old and my older brother (10 at the time) took me to the movies with him to see the greatest martial arts movie of all time. I know he was only 10, but it was a different era then lol! I distinctly remember watching this movie and being completely blown away! It left such an impression on me that I’m still not over it lol!

Simply amazing to see after all these years. I saw the movie the 1st day it opened in 1973. I was in the 1st 500 group to get a free poster of Bruce! I have a question. There is a scene in the beginning of the movie when Bruce is talking with the Shaolin priest. The scene that they added yrs. later to The DVD's, the voice sounds different than Bruce's voices. Was that dubbed in by another actor?

I remember seeing the clip from’Way of the Dragon’ On ‘World of Sport’, with Bruce and Chuck Norris. I believe I was about 10 years old at the time. Bruce was a living breathing superhero, and to me, he still is?

This movie had so many now legends in small roles. Biao Yuen, Jackie Chan and Sammo Hung for example.
Biao Yuen is the most acrobatic actor ever, and sadly never got the same popularity as Bolo, Jackie or Sammo.

Hey Charles this is Lise, I list eifi on my phone a while back. This my husbands phone. Anyway you asked me when I was aware of Bruce, so in yhe early 70's my brother used to go into the city ,(NYC) abs and he'd come around corners of the house making Bruce Lee noises and I didn't know what yhe hell ge eas doing. Then he took me to see Rnter The Dragon at Times Square which at that time had a ton of Chinese fight movies. Then I understood. And then I thought this chinese guy was the coolest. I was 16. And still no one compares to him. What's gunny about that is three years later I started dating the Sensai of an Aikido dojo.And he was taught by Richard Bowe. Who at that time had a number of Aikido schools in Hudson County, NJ. Interesting times Charles, you know, youth, the 70's, Bruce Lee movies, disco, You could drink at 18. What a great time to be alive.
