These videos has helped me so much, yes with some of the advice sure. But more with just learning how to actually vod review. Instead of looking at a fight and saying “i had bad aim” (which may be true but it’s irrelevant) I instead go “was this a good play?” “how was my crosshair placement?” “was my movement bad?” “what did this kill look like from the enemies perspective?” “what was the point of this utility, and was it good?” thanks pienix 👊👍
Your coaching videos are great and I like your attitude. I guess its still totally viable but I am wondering what is your take on ct banana utility after the incendiary nerf? Since ct fire doesnt spread as good and expires so fast, Is it still just best to do the short molly, deep smoke, long molly? Thanks for posting and keep up the good work.
Hi, It's me in the video. Yes I improved somewhat but it's been difficult. I enjoy the strategy and team play elements of the game but my mechanics are so poor that it doesn't matter how I rotate or what set of util I know since I will lose every duel. So what we did is just work on my mechanics week in an week out. Refrag scenarios, 80% prefire 20% others like angle trainer, clutch etx. 20mins of the workshop map drills every day. Then some death match. This takes around 90 mins. That also means if i only have 1- 2 hours in a day for cs I don't get to play multiplayer. Playing faceit or matchmaking when ur shit just reinforces bad mechanics. This is probably the most important thing I've learnt from my sessions with @pienixcs You don't have to do this if you have good mechanics already. If you want to test this just go onto refrag, load up the clutch scenario and choose your favorite map. If you can comfortably kill the bots without cheesing (full hiding after every kill) your probably good enough. This scenario doesn't test peeks, but it tests most other mechanics. for peeks you need to record yourself doing prefire maps. Then have someone who's actually good at the game look at it cause it's hard to see your own mistakes.
how do i hold angles where enemy is running past the angle and i cant react fast enough. am i suppose to have my crosshair close to the angle if im expecting them? seems like an issue i never see talked about
If you hear running it’s most likely they will wideswing then you should hold it farther from the angle if you don’t hear any running aim at head level around the place where they would stop if they were to peek correctly(doesn’t work against low elo players because it’s impossible to predict what they’re doing
With snap tap and socd being released, do you think it makes w+a / w+d movement more fine? i tried it and its so easy to counterstrafe with s+d / s+a now, when you have the right settings. i mean just in rare occasions, i realize a/d strafing is still better for checking angles and peeking since you are harder to hit and can clear angles better one after another
you can't molly both anymore, so you have to choose either molotov barrels or left side of banana ideally combine close molotov and deep molo left side then double nade barrels for example
@@pienixcs yes, for ct side this looks similar even with smaller fire spread. Questioning more about t side molly to deny ct's aggressive plays Anyway, thank you for answers!
@@pienixcs yea being sarcastic its the way to go, pathetic 😂😂 there are bots even at 3500 elo but yet a guy whos not even on red is teaching others how to play, cs is going dooooooown

@@meechie9z bro by saying that there are bots in 3500 im sayin that if ur not good enough to carry urself to at least 3k elo u definitely cant teach other people shit. ur understanding of the game comes only by playing in high elo environment and against good players, thats how u gain experience. like i said, its pathetic to think that you "know" the game if ur not even able to reach 3k elo, AT LEAST.
@@meechie9z bot in 3500 means that even at this elo some people dont know how to use utility properly, they dont know how to catch a timing or how to use a timing, how to rotate etc etc. another thing is that even the "word" bot for u is a player who cant shoot or cant do anything on the map, a "bot" at 3.5k elo definitely knows how to shoot and gas good movement hes just not understanding how he should react in certain situations. which again u can learn only by playing A LOT against and with good players.
Tracking practice has helped me so much and I don't think I would have emphasized it without pienixcs. Thanks!
Great to hear!

Wow I made you think, proud 🙌
the most common issue I see in low elos is peeking angles with shift and lack of gamesense
Yup
This is me

High quality coach. Your coaching style is easily digestible for someone who is not great at the game. Thanks
I appreciate that!
lets go, another great video and content!!!
Hope you enjoyed it!

You Molly either barrels of left cubby then double nade whatever you left open
Makes sense. Thanks for clarifying.
This video was recorded a long time ago if they’re talking about the arch being gone. Has he improved since?
It was, couple months maybe
He indeed improved, look out for more sessions, will upload later down the line

Is there exact spot (and reason) to molly on banana against ct's? Looks hard to molly both car and close halfwall at the same time
