There was a point where you were talking about his arm position, and I think your initial suspicion was correct, that his setup is hindering his aim a bit.
I've always been a low sense player, and it requires your desk to be high up, and your arm to be flared out to the side. Your elbow should be just barely off the desk, this way you are getting the maximum range for your arm to pivot around. If your arm isn't flared out, due to your desk being too low, when you move to the right your range is lower and you'll have to do a combination of stretching and using your shoulder to get the same range. This leads to an imbalance, where you only need your forearm to aim left, and you need multiple muscles (that move along different planes) to aim to the right.
If you search "Ron Rambo Kim -- Low Sensitivity - Forearm Aiming (FaZe NiKo)" you'll find a video that shows Niko's arm positioning, and it is similar to what I am describing. His elbow is flared out away from his body, it's barely off the table (sometimes it's even on the table), and he aims almost entirely with his forearm (using wrist for micro adjustments).
Yea go with most of the forearm on the table
Armrest player with only wrist on the desk here. Used to have my whole arm no the table though, but i've grown out of that trying to correct my posture a bit. I still do the same motions as before, but I guess the big difference is that my arm isn't as far away from my body, which of course means I have a lower desk position than before too.
u crazy if u think peakers advantage not a thing
he didn't say that though
It's just not so serious that you can't beat someone peeking into you, you counter good peekers and peekers advantage with good crosshair placement, positioning, good movement during fight etc.
@@rsnt- incorrect. The distances from either side of most angles are not equal therefore there is always an advantage to the player who peeks/is in the position which is most distant from the corner.
@@rsnt- its huge actually if you have more than 40 ping, I don't even see a guy peeking I hide behind a wall and I get hit. Its like 300ms delay with 50 ping. With lower ping it feels around 100-200 but still huge. I never see people stop before shooting or peek the angle normally. They are wide peeking but I see only half of the peek before being killed.
@@ESMIR1337 that may be what you feel, but the actual measured peeker's advantage, using proper tests, is a few ms above 1x the defender's ping. This lines up with the theoretical value of peeker's advantage, which is also 1x the defender's ping.
thank you for uploading these.
My pleasure!
Consistently doing Aimlab for training has improved my aim immensely, nowadays I mostly do a 20 minute aimlab warmup playlist before going into cs warmup and I notice a difference on days when I skip that. Aimlab won't substitute hours spent on the server but it's a great tool for improving (as long as you do reasonable tasks ofc.), not sure why you are so against it.
Ye I noticed after starting to use aimlabs for like a week that im hitting shots which I never would before like consistently. Ill do like 1 kill every match which I would never get before
buy an ad
Not against it at all
BRO ITS NOT AIMLABS (IM CONTRADICTING HAHA IS AIMLABS CUZ IS WHER U FIND UR CALMNESS)
IS JUST TAKING THE TIME IN LESS THAN A SECCOND TO AIM AT YOUR TARGET AND KILL IS LIKE A OPERA THING WHERE U DO ART TAPING AND U BECOME CALM FOR THE ADJUSTMENT FLICKS TRACKING ETC ETC
it really depends on how you use the aim trainers. if this guy is just playing gridshot and going for speed then its no wonder why his aim is so flicky and shaky. aim trainers can be a great tool if used properly with a well rounded routine but also detrimental when used improperly
nice one! great video
Appreciate it!
Another great vid
Thanks again!
Yep. The peeker's advantage part of the video is absolutely true for me. At least this dude said he does not actively think about it, while I constantly think about it and to be honest I get afraid that I will get destroyed, by something I can't react to. In my defense I will say that in Warmup servers till this day it still feels there's peeker's advantage. I just constantly die by people that are not on my screen and I can't react to that. You will say my internet connection is probably bad, but I have checked it. I have no packets loss and rarely the ms spikes. I am aiming just like him - my aim is not calm, I often overflick and I unlike him I get this subconscious fear that I will die by something I won't see as I said. And another question - is the routine you gave him private for the students or we can find it somewhere, because I have been struggling with this for years it feels like and I don't really play other shooters anymore.
Yup go to mechanics playlist
Honestly you would see a lot of this in my gameplay. I also flick more than i track but i also find it’s easier to get fast hs with a calmer grip on the mouse and just being mentally calm in clutch situations. Have not considered my desk height at all (desk is higher so elbows are more pointed down)
Prob is i can consistently drop 30 with awp on any dpi and sens combo but can not perform nearly as much with rifles
Great video!
Thanks!
Looks like he has "Enhance pointer precision" on as it will overshoot fast movements for you.
Nah its not about that
Well this habit is very common in majority players (shaky aim left and right). trying to fix.
Yes, gotta track
Should sensitivity multiplier also be taken into account of judging super low/high sens?
Yes totally 💯
Is it better to have your elbow resting on the desk? that's what i do and it doesn't cause any problems besides when i need to aim up and down. i've also played on another setup where i've had none of my forearm on the desk and i still play well, maybe even better
I propose most of the forearm on the table for control
I think that the problem here is a complex one. The player is obviously not prepared for wide pick, and he is bad at duels with a lot of movement. He's got a predictive approach to duels where he is trying to predict target's motion. Instead of this bad habbit he should be more reactive at microcorrections. Aimlab with specific scenaries can boost his aim a lot, i guess
Dude you should make a UA-cam channel where you coach and analyze cs go footage
@@Joee_Kool you think so? Or it’s trolling 🥹, cause I really thought about it
Do it man you’d be amazing
I don't think he needs to stop playing aimlabs. But he should double or triple his sensitivity when practicing and grind the voltaic daily improvement routines. He's probably not practicing effectively and using his low sensitivity in CS as a crutch to help with his shaky aim. I used to do the same but low sens is a temporary fix, once you get used to it the shakiness returns.
He needs lower sens not voltaic routines
I've watched a whole lot of your videos Pienix, the only thing so far I'm NOT going to listen to is the fact that I will continue to use Aim Trainers, there are many pros such as Elige, Twistzz, Ropz and Rain, even the young players of today are all using aim trainers and some people swear by them, every time I just go for a flicking exercise inside one of the aim trainers I swear it like, wakes up my arm with my mouse movements.
Aim trainers are fine, i use them myself
All the advice is specific btw
He didnt need any aim trainer
U should try aim_treeni from the CS2 workshop
@@pienixcs The problem he had could be helped by an aim trainer though. I'm not saying your advice was bad, the fast aim reflex training is basically an aim training task but his overflicking was so bad that training in game is probably better as it should be relatively easy to improve.
But people are probably just having problem with you stating " dont touch it (aimlabs) ever again"
Which is a tad overreaction and probably bad advice.
If hes playing aimlabs and still has that bad of overflicking he's probably not training correctly with it though.
I can't help but think this may have been inspired by my comment on the previous video. 😁
Who knows 👻
Level 9 and he shoots like that wow!
Yupp
I have a similar issue...I am not tracking properly and over flick
Fix it
@@pienixcs using your tips and trying to condition my brain to not panic flick
Maybe he has Enhanced pointer precision enabled, those over flicks looks weird...
I have the same problem, actively trying to correct it, but it's a habit, which is hard to shake off. Enh.Pres. off.
What aim routine did you link him? Is it a youtube video?
Yea, check my mechanics playlist theres a best routine video there
Great Video, what is the map name 26:20
Fast Aim / Reflex Training
fart
For me i have shaky aim cuz i play with 1200 dpi 3.3 due to lack space on table to move the mouse right so i use faster movement speed to compensate
Sure glad
Pienix is very good coach for CS GO, i suppose, but not as good for CS2, which is much more movement-dependent, not staying still-dependent. Watch some donk replays.
Peekers advantage will always be a thing in all shooter games. For example: just because when you are peeking - you are pro-active and your opponent is re-active. And there is much more for it with the game engine, net code etc.
Can you link your faceit here pls?
you give realy good couching. but peekers advantige is a realy big thing that means not to take that evry time, but its a thing its fact... dunno if you checked it but its realy a thing. and the video where you saied peekers advantues dosnt matter and its not so much yes for this guy (other video) was right and i think no one should peek because of peekers adventage and force himself. the problem is he knows where you come from and the peeker may khnow where but not exactly if you do the peek and know were he is and have good aim than he is probalbly dead ^^ but still peekers adventage is not a thing where you should force yourself to play a round that^^ people also pre fire etc or have faster reacting time because they know exactly where you coming
Why you dont like aimlabs?
Coz ppl who cant play the game think they are good aimers and then dont counterstrafe in cs complaining the game is broken
OK BRO IM AT MIN 12 AND U KEEP TELLING HIM HE DOES THE OVER FLICK TO RIGHT I HOPE U TELL HIM HOW TO FIX IT NOT JUST KEEP SAYING IT
😹😹😹
@@pienixcs HAHAHAHHA U NEVER TOLD HIM
HOW TO DO IT
I UNDERSTAND IS TRACKING BUT MAYBE IS HE IS A FLICKER LIKE THAT JHUST TELL HIM HOLD THE ANGLE AND WEHEN YOU SEE HIM JUST HOLD CLICK AND PULL DOWN BUT U SHOULD AIM TO HEAD BUT HE FAR FROM THAT
SOMETIMES THING THAT UR PRO CIOACHING CAN HELP A LOT BUT THEY NEVER GONA BEE PRO BUT I LOVE UR MOUSE POSITION AND SMALL STUFF HELP A LOT BUT MAYBE THAT DUDE JUST NEED THA FLICK AND HTAT SIT HE DSNT HAVE TO BE A PRO
@@TheBest-hf2prtry letting go of the shift key when writing, like when you rush Banana in Inferno
HE SHOULD MAYBE FLICK LESS AND PULL DOWN FAST
😹
Bro i havnt stop eatching ur games
Ur vida sorry
Waoo never knew slowing down the game and all that helps a ton more than rutines
@@pienixcs what can i do to gwt coaching?
I USED TO PLAY .6 ON 800 TOO HHAHAHA
So low man
800 0.7 is very common sens but its very low also. I cant imagine playing on 0.6 lmao.
@@juuso4148 BRO BUT FOR A REASON MY CROSHAIR NEVER FEELS LIKE SMOOTRS LIKE PROS LIKE PRO HAS HIGH SENS AND IT LOOKS SLOW AF I HAVE GOOD PC SO I DONT KNOW WHA TTO DO FOR IT CUZ IF I GO FAST IS TO CHAKI FOR ME AND I HAVE A 240 HTZ
