- A bit of a departure from my usual stuff. After watching Girls Und Panzer, I decided to make this video thanks to the fantastic tank battles.

This is amazing not only for the way the video is cut together but because the tone of the music completely subverts the overall tone of the anime (which is fairly light and humorous).

High Tech my backside. The WW2 German AFV was very good, but overly engineered with out of date parts. Little wonder that when the darn things broke, it took a full repair depot to fix'em. Say what you will of a Sherman, less than 10 percent of Shermans ever hit, were scrap metal. Their German counterparts were scrap metal 80 percent of the time.

Wow...That was pure, refined, saturated and concentrated AWESONMESS! The MOST EPIC AMV on the "Girls und Panzer" I've seen so far! The choise of music is great, the scenes used in the AMV suit the soundtrack perfectly not to mention that the vid's plot is very intriguing. The clip itself is very dinamic, the deathblows on the tanks are shown in extremely dramatic way and the ending is above all expectations.

if you look at both animes you would see that no matter what skill level you are at or what equipment you have a good leader can always win.

This Anime is a Tribute to the PzKpfw IV :D
Out of all the tanks seen in the Anime my favourite (top 5) is: Matilda, KV-1S, Tiger, PZ 4 H and KV-2 :P
robert brzezinski there wasnt KV-1S it was IS-2 (it was said in the anime)
Adrian Chmielewski to be precise: IS-2 mod 1944, there are two versions of the is-2 the only diference is the frontal amour

The kill shots are shown in such a way that even if you have seen the whole anime multiple times over, you never know what shot is coming next, other than the final shot of the last match. That's the one bit of criticism I have- the final shot could have been shown for just a bit longer- it would have been a lot more dramatic that way. And where does that logo come from? This is the second place I've seen it...

Most of the popular fansubs use soft subs which you can turn off. These particular clips were taken from a Commie group video. To get the scenes I simply used fraps.
Go figure, the only tank that really angled it's armor appropiately was the freaking MAUS. As if it needed to angle it's armor against those tanks...
If there's a second season they need to go against a school that specialises in sidescraping. That'd be seen as downright cheating!
