- A 75 km drive in the snowy Golan Heights and the descent from the Golan Heights to the Arik Bridge over the Jordan River.
We started at the "Hashiryon" junction where Road 91 meets Road 978. We passed near El Rom, Road 98, Mount Avital, Ein Zivan, Aloni HaBashan and Katzrin. From Katzrin we got off at the last light on Road 87 and we also got to see the Sea of Galilee.

על גלגלים מגישים לכם נסיעה ברמת הגולן המושלגת ואת הירידה מהרמה עד לגשר אריק שמעל נהר הירדן.
התחלנו בצומת השריון בו נפגשים כביש 91 עם כביש 978. עברנו ליד אל רום, כביש 98, הר אביטל, עין זיוון, אלוני הבשן וקצרין. מקצרין ירדנו באור אחרון על כביש 87 ועוד הספקנו לראות את הכנרת.

בינתיים שמענו שנעשו ברמת הגולן מעשי ונדליזם ע''י מטיילים שבאו לראות השלג.
אני מגנה זאת בכל תוקף ומקווה שכל מי שגרם נזקים לרכוש יבוא על עונשו.
ללא ספק יופי של סרט ושלג ספונטני ....

Amazing promise land.... God of Israel is the only way, Greater Jerusalem Israel...
Since Israel in located in a desert region, I never thought that snow would fall in Israel. The Promised Land is such a beautiful landscape!
Only part of Israel is a desert, other parts are green. The Golan heights high area is around 900 - 1200 meters and have snow few times a year, winter only. The Galil's higher mountains also get to 1200 meter and have snow, Hermon Mt. 2814 meters also, we have up to around 2300 meters in our boarder.
