Are there tent sites as well?
Nice top 5
TY!!
Siesta Keys, and all the Destin beaches.. white sands, emerald waters are amazing in all.
Totally agree!!
Top sail preserve I think should be in here.
Can't disagree on that one, we love Topsail too!!
Just beautiful ! Thx

So glad you enjoyed it, thanks for checking it out for us!!
Great looking beaches! Definitely going to check some of these out. Most beaches we do are northeast FL. We have a Little Talbot Island State Park video coming out Monday. The beach there was nice and isolated as well. Love the beaches with clear water though!
Thats so great, cant wait to see your episode at Little Talbot Island!!
@@CampTravelExplore thanks! Always enjoy your videos!
Will add these to list, we did Topsail Hill State Park over the winter. It is also a good option near Grayton or Henderson.
We have camped at Topsail and love it also!!!
Thanks SO much for this video! We've been looking for the perfect place to camp in our RV on the beach!
So glad it was helpful to you! We have a playlist on our channel with many more campgrounds that have a beach if it helps you!!
Love all of your videos, theyare so helpful, especially in determining actual campsites. Keep up the great work!
Hey thank you for that feedback!! We are hitting some national parks next, but then back to some Florida State Parks!
@@CampTravelExplore excellent
Very beautiful beaches!. Can you drive on the beach at Grayton?
Yes there is a section you can park! Remember we need to take your boat up and hit those artificial reefs there!!!
@@CampTravelExplore I want to join you guys dive to those reefs😍. I have been following both of your contents. You guys rock.
Love your Top 5 Tom and awesome drone shots! Have to agree Anastasia is gorgeous and one of our favorites to film at. Shells are amazing there and always very clean. Have to say North Beach though is our all time favorite! Went about 2 weeks ago and got some amazing drone shots of all the crabs at East side. The water is absolutely stunning there and the place is huge. Drive is pretty spectacular to get there too. Great video hope you and the family are doing great😊-Becky
Thank You Becky! Hope you guys are doing great too! We are heading out to Yellowstone NP soon, cant wait! We may still connect down the road on a kayaking adventure over your way!!
@@CampTravelExplore oh you guys are going to have a blast at YS! Doing good on our end. Would be so much fun to meet up at some point and kayak. Still trying to talk Gary into doing the 3 day kayak trip down the Suwannee River and staying at the free river camps between stops. That trip looks amazing that Kayak Cliff did
Talk him into it, it will be epic! We are going to do more kayaking videos in the future!
@@CampTravelExplore I'm trying lol. I think it would be incredible!!!!
Yes, Little Talbot Island State park is great!
Putting that one on my list!!
Can’t believe Bahia Honda State Park in the Keys isn’t on a top 5 list. It’s crazy gorgeous!
We debated that one a bunch for sure, but what beach would you take off the list for it?
Gorgeous!
So glad you enjoyed it!!
Henderson State Park is heavenly!
Anastasia is my favorite! Love the little bike trails and being so close to all the yummy food in St Augustine. Haven't tried any others in this list but now you've given me whole new inspiration!
Anastasia is so great and so much to do in the area!! Go check them all out and let us know what you thought!!
Funny based on UA-cam and campendium I booked 4 out of 5 of these for next winter. Your video even makes me more excited to go!!!
That is so great! Enjoy!!
Beautiful 🥰 as always... Love the great info. Keep up the great work, much appreciated.
Thank You so much for that feedback, we so appreciate it!!
This is great, loved your Top Picks definitely, Thanks for sharing..
So glad you enjoyed it!!
Awesome. Campgrounds with beaches are so beautiful. We haven’t been able to get into Gamble yet. Looks amazing. I’ve never heard of Grayton. Thanks for the heads up. I’m adding it to my list. We loved our time at Anastasia. Fort Desoto is another hard to get in. Maybe this year? Wow. Another I’ve never been to? Thanks for introducing these to me.
But no trifecta in the Keys? pennecamp, Bahia Honda, Curry Hammock. And Fort Clinch?
Great job,
Alice
I think Bahia Honda is in the running for sure, but you have to go to Grayton for sure.
@@CampTravelExplore added to my list 👍
Wow - all fabulous, but the sites at #2 were just perfection! And now I want to put my feet in 82 degree salt water!
Come on down! We do have some nice beaches to camp at!! We don't do it enough ourselves.
i would say, you left off Topsail Hill Preserve we were there tent camping and it was awesome, the campsite and the beach itself. We went to Henderson and St Andrews as well, very nice beaches too, mine would be
1. St Andrews
2. Topsail
3. Henderson beach
We will def check out all those you have mentioned in your video.
Thank you!

I definitely thought Topsail was right there on the line of 5 or 6, great suggestions all!! Welcome to our channel!!
for non state park, check out Red Coconut RV Park in Ft Myers Bch. beach front rv camping.
Will do! Thanks for that suggestion!!
We have been to all of those beaches and more! Definitely not easy these days to get a spot for camping. We used to love camping a fort DeSoto in our pop-up with the kids. One I would really love to get to is Bahia Honda State Park. Someday we will figure out how to get a spot there, lol.
That is so great that you have been to all of them! We are. trying for Fort Clinch next!!
I was just at Ormond Beach last month for a weekend. Should have stopped up at Flagler to check it out
We love Ormond by the sea also! We have camped at Coral Sands RV resort a few times!!
Im going to Fort de Soto on August
Fort DeSoto is a personal fav of ours!!
I wish you had included which if any of the sites were full hook-up and roughly what the nightly rate was
Fort Pickens state park is an awesome beach campground
Great suggestion, thank you!!
I don't camp at this time but will definitely visit these beaches and parks when I get back to Florida. Great video hope they won't be too busy when I visit. How far in advance did you need to book your sites
a year out to book sites..
These type parks, you will need to plan out 9 months or longer. I would say though, I have seen cancelations come up so keep your fave on your radar and check it daily for them!
We liked Sebastian Inlet State park.
Yes, the beach there is very underrated!!
I am living in Florida
Hope you get to check these out!!
How about Fort Pickens in Pensacola Fla
Good one, we have not, but we need to check it out! TY!
How advance do we need to book some of these state beaches?
I would say 6 months or more, some we be 10-11 months in advance. I have had some people share that they have been able to get last minute cancellations by watching for them regularly also if that helps you. Thanks for checking it out for us!!
In the State Parks, can you reserve a site,or is it first come first serve?
You have to reserve them in advance, these are popular parks so if you are a planner, it will help you! Thanks for checking it out for us!!
Are there tent sites?
All of these parks offer tent camping, some will even have designated tent only sites when you check online.
No Florida keys??
What beach in the Keys has a beach that compares to any of these 5? I didn't think Bahia Honda's beach was close to these myself, any others I missed? Thanks for checking it out for us!!
Which beach is the one from the beginning of the video? First few seconds.
You are looking at Sombrero beach in Marathon key!
Great info, do you guys know or any of your super informed followers know, of any good camp site on a beach like this thats within a 2 hr drive from Orlando that my son and I could do a weekend at per say. Id love to find one that has possible beautiful trails, and wildlife.
Hes going through some very hard personal times right now, and rather than treat him w a pill, or therapy only, Id love to expose him to what I believe Mother Nature can do for him naturally. Although, Ive never camped a single day in my life myself, I just know or well, feel in my heart, him and I just maybe getting away, and doing something like this, would be good for his soul.
And honestly, anywhere in FL that one has visited, and that the sheer beauty, or the people, or amenties, anything, made you arrive one person, and leave another, is what Im looking for my beloved 24 yr old that Im currently in the fight of my life trying to save from addiction.
Thank you all ❤😊
Flagler beach featured in this video is less than 2 hours from Orlando and there are other state parks near it with trails!!
Would not change a thing
Hey thanks Dean! Have any suggestions for 6, 7 or 8?
You miss Anna Maria one of best
Love Anna Maria Island too!!
👍💯
Henderson Beach is absolutely incredible!!
like if i want to literally drive up to the sand and be 15feet away from the water... where can i do this at? all of these are actual camp grounds.
You know an underrated gem in Florida is Pass-A-Grille beach over in St Petersburg. You can pull right up and park next to it, have you been there before?
