- It's time for another (slightly delayed) episode of Quest for the Masks! We got plenty of rare sets, plenty of weirdness, and of course, plenty of masks. #Bionicle #lego #unboxing
The feeling of getting a giant box of Bionicle parts, most having parts you never owned, its just so satisfying.
Matoro is one of the more interesting characters in the lore because he’s the first character introduced in the comics, he eventually becomes a toa, he has a moral crisis on how to use his mask, and he sacrifices himself for his friends.
The way you aligned Matoro with Kopaka's mask makes it look like a buff Kopaka when the camera is out of focus at 6:14 😁

Honeslty yhe early 2000s megabloks castle sets were incredible i still use the parts in my mocs! Especially mixing in those wallbpieces with legos printed in order to get different textures and finishes
Yes, Mega Bloks Dragons series has always had very detailed pieces and unique minifigures, and the dragons were a masterpiece
Make the krana display for the UA-cam content, it can be a whole video just showing the audience what you’ve got so far. As UA-cam says to all content creators: dance monkey dance

The black ruru while it did come out in an official set it should still go with the misprints, as it is a non-standard colour.

Those transformers were g1 pipes in pretty good condition looks like, g1 hoist in significantly less good condition, and transmetal 1 optimus primal in OK condition
Lovely haul this time around! That Karzahni set is bonkers with how the build looks, but honestly great for you to have gotten from a random Ebay lot! Your series has inspired me to start browsing around Ebay myself for some of the Bionicle I never had. Already completed the Toa Nuva and Mata thanks to random parts lots, and I'm starting work on the Metru while I still hunt for masks.
Also, the "fake lego" was from the Megablocks Dragons series. If you don't want them or the Transformers, I'd gladly buy them off ya!
Yeah, the build process for Karzahni was a lot of me going "what, really?" He's a super weird guy, but I enjoy when the build process keeps you on your toes like that, lol.

This is definitely me looking into things too much, but the tone of this video wasn't as fun or celebratory as a lot of your others! Too much calling mega bloks fake lego and calling a kid's imagination nonsense! I wouldn't comment this if I didn't love your content, I know full well what a silly criticism this is
But I think its also partially knowing that a lot of kids got into bionicle because it WAS cheaper than a lot of other lego options, and if those kids want cheap lego, it's no surprise they'd also like mega bloks!
Maybe I've just been in too sentimental a mood lately tho lmao
Still! I feel like celebrating what we love about bionicle is more fun than just COLLECTING all the pieces. You wouldn't be collecting all the pieces if you didn't love bionicle for other reasons as well!
