Great update Andy glad you are enjoying your break liked your information on the block work and reinforcement with the Spanish brickwork ! Some fire 🔥 the world 🌎 is overheating now ! Nice spot your apartment and bet you have had great times in Spain 🇪🇸 but as you say plenty of holidays with money from apartment sake so all the best and enjoy your extended holiday! Be good to see your metal detector on a video and a review of it been thinking of getting one myself! Spot on finding that hook do some damage that and finding a bit of grey gold lol
Dont work like that out there, Spanish wont employ you unless you speak Spanish and probably still wont, the hours are crap still working to 10pm in the Summer to beat the heat. You need to be multitrade, plastering, blocks and tiling to a good standard and work for expats.Problem is there are a lot of lads here who have been here a long time and have it sown up, very hard to move in and expats are tight as fuck.
None really, the only proper brickwork is in the cities and the Spanish wouldnt give you a look in.On the Costas it's mainly blockwork and Spanish get around 80/100 euros a day minus over 300 euros NI deductions. Most Brits work for expats for similar money self employed but you will need 20 to 30 thousand euros to set yourself up over here if you are a British passport holder because of Brexit, that's why no one comes to work in Spain anymore.
I understand my friend. I lay brick in Texas and all summer has been in the upper 100 to 110° Fahrenheit which is about 44 degrees Celsius it's hot sometimes you have to take a break sit down don't overheat the heat will kill you
@@ama9401 per hour I make 29. But we get a lot of overtime. I bring home about 1300 a wk. We have maybe one or two down weeks a year here. Good brick laying weather here
Had a couple of hooks in the hand,,, don’t fancy the big toe🙁 get a couple of trebles on that lure and I will bet you a tenner you will get a wee Jack on it up the river👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻enjoy your Last wee trip too your place in the sun 👍🏻
Hello mate, how do you think the cost of living crisis/ recession will effect the building trade? I saw something the other day in China they were demolishing apartment blocks that were three quarters finished.👍
No recession yet, but yes anything could happen they demolished many part finished houses in Ireland in the last recession and still plenty of unfinished projects in Spain where Banks whent skint.Who knows I'm to old to worry about it now 😁
In torremolinos last week myself for 10 days, nice to get a few days away unfortunately back to the grind now, hopefully in the near future we will be able to buy a holiday home over there have house prices gone up much over there at the moment
