  • I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
I also sing bass in Millennial Choirs and Orchestras (MCO). We recently debuted “The Vision” in concert, which is a song that describes Joseph Smith's experience in the Sacred Grove as he was seeking to know which church to join. We at MCO also recently made a recording of that song.
This video project, a study of Joseph Smith's First Vision, is a compilation of various sacred messages and insights. It is also an effort for me to share what is most special to me. The video ends with the MCO recording previously mentioned.
I love the gospel of Jesus Christ! My prayer is for us to have spiritual experiences as we ponder the teachings of the First Vision and reflect on them again and again, and for the Holy Ghost to testify to us that these things are true.
I know that as we make time for the Lord each day, He blesses us and we feel His love for us, His children. I love the Lord and I thank Him for preparing His prophet to usher in the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
“O what rapture filled his soul for he saw the living God!”

    Lyrics:
If you lack wisdom, ask of God.
    Ask of God.
O how lovely was the morning! Radiant beamed the sun above.
Bees were humming, birds were singing, music ringing through the grove,
When within the shady woodland Joseph sought the God of love, When within the shady woodland Joseph sought the God of love.
He sought the God of love.
    The God of love!
    God of love.
Humbly kneeling, ‘Twas the boy's first uttered prayer,
When the pow’rs of sin filled his soul with despair!
When the powers of sin filled his soul with despair!
    His soul with deep despair!
Dies irae, dies illa, solvet saeculum in favilla,
Dies irae, dies illa, solvet saeculum in favilla!
Dies irae! Dies illa! Dies irae!
Suddenly a light descended, brighter far than noonday sun,
And a shining glorious pillar O’er him fell, around him shone.
While appeared two heav’nly beings, God the Father and the Son,
While appeared two heav’nly beings, God the Father and the Son,
Father and the Son, and the Son!
“Joseph, this is my Beloved Son! Hear Him! Hear Him!”
O what rapture filled his soul for he saw the living God!
O what rapture filled his soul for he saw the living God!
    Living God!
    Living God!
    Living God!
    Alleluia Living God,
    Saw the living God!
