Mogh and Godfrey are both true late game bosses, Morgot and Radahn are Mid game bosses (with Radahn scaling ah little higher), Radagon is the final boss (but he’s only half of it), Ryakard scales in between mid and late game. So yeah Godfrey’s family probably takes it in vanilla scaling.
It would’ve been really fun to see Malenia somehow incorporated into this fight, like maybe if we had vanilla nihil, or swapped her out with rykard for a few rounds to have some fights where you can more clearly see each encounter, etc
They didn't bring Malenia because if they did, Godfrey would've called up Godwyn and all of them would've gotten Deathblight Cancer and imagine trying to fight and kill an already technically dead Merman? That first fight was going all well enough for Radagon and the boys until they ticked Godfrey off enough to just go "fuck it we ball" and proceed to turbo dunk with Mohg lol.
Main problem with Rykard is that he is made to fight the Tarnished at range, whenever he went 1v1 with Mogh he just whiffed 90% of his attacks which lost the battle :/ And also that Mogh has a lot of fire defence for those few attacks.
Niheel and Hoarah too strong boy. How come Starscorge Radahn on the donkey wasn't firing the purple rocks though? They kept suspended around him but never fired. That may have made a difference if they fired because those bombs are quite strong.
Prediction: Radahn hard carries team Radagon. If he doesn't get off his meteor strike they just Lose. And even when it connects it's gonna have to do it just right or it won't even level the playing field because of Godfrey's phase change basically putting a cap on how much damage it can do.
Daddy Raddy would have destroyed them if he ditched the vore enthusiast for his rotting daughter. Same with Radahn. Ranni is capable of just insta-killing the Tarnished, as she demonstrated.
Without even watching the video my guess is that the winner is easily Godfrey's family. It all boils down to how many pushovers do you have in your team. Godfrey has only 1- Morgott. And Radagon unfortunately has 2: both of his children. Radahn is fast and has a meteor attack but his hp is very futile while Rykard is basically a giant chunk of health who can't really do anything. Edit: I was right. Radahn dies in 30 seconds, Rykard barely does anything and Radagon gets easily overwhelmed in 3v1.

I actually think Godfrey was mvp here, his absurd posture break and Aoe meant that no one on radagons side (of the family) could do anything. Every time his team lost it’s because he died first to the meteor so Mohg wouldn’t get hit (very lore accurate for dadfrey). And he bonked radahn out of the meteor, that’s worth the crown by itself.

Radahn’s nuke attack destroys most, if not all, of the bosses except for Mohg, and Rykard’s fire attacks aren’t very effective against him, either. That means he can go toe to toe with the sweet snakey boy despite the large health pool Rykard has. Not to mention that Mohg is running a bleed build and while useless against Radagon he bodies Radahn and Rykard. Also, it’s not very lore accurate since Godfrey isn’t the good dad people think he is. Godfrey did nothing to protect his sons from being put in an actual concentration camp, not a single thing.
It would have been interesting to see Radagon's second family vs Godfrey's. Radagon plus full powered Malenia would be a force, even against 3. Heck, even throw in a Miquella cocoon as a morale booster :)
There's so much happening at once that it took me a couple rewinds to see the miracle at 7:47 where Rykard moves Morgott out of Radahn's meteor strike by swinging his sword, saving the Omen's life. I love sandbagging between bosses

Not an unexpected outcome. Hoarah Loux and his sons fight at full strength, while the long years since the Shattering have reduced Radahn and Radagon to mere shadows of their former might.
I really like the new shared hp bars. it gives a chance for some weaker bosses to shine in these situations I dont think ive ever seen Radahn use that flying spin move he used at 19:40 because he always wouldve died so quickly in these fights
Godfrey definitely has the more successful family: - Morgott defended Lyndell against both Radahn and Rykard's onslaught - Mohg created his own dynasty and got a twink bf by swiping Miquella right under Malenia's nose - AND you could even count yourself, the tarnished, who's a descendant of Godfrey
What I'm noticing in these fights is that it really depends on whether Radahn gets his meteor off or not. Since it does sooooo much damage, it can knock all of Godfrey's family into the red, or more accurately, Godfrey himself. And then Godfrey is practically dead because the damage still follows through, instead of stopping at his phase change.
Funny how there's a noteable missing family member on Radagon's side. His best child that we fight: Malenia, Blade of Miquella, and she has never known defeat.

Well you could rationalize blaid and fortissax into the fight as representatives of ranni and godwyn respectively but that would be a little bit uneven but we could add malenia and godrick (preferably starting with the dragon arm) in there to tip the scale lol.
radagon's family is really at a disadvantage here. Radahn can't fight from long range, Radagon deals bludgeoning damage (no boss is weak to it) and holy damage (all bosses are resistant to it), he is vulnerable to fire, which is Mohg's bread and butter, and Mohg is nearly immune to it, taking out about half of Rykard's damage.

Considering how Radahn and Rykard have such low scaling, Radagon's family did pretty well. Would love to see this again with Consort Radahn, with all of them on equal scaling of course.
Tier 18 Radahn should have been vanilla. He's already right next to Dragonbarrow and that's 19. Yeah he would have been way more difficult but you can scale the summons higher too. Be more fitting for the most powerful demigod

What I'm noticing in these fights is that it really depends on whether Radahn gets his meteor off or not. Since it does sooooo much damage, it can knock all of Godfrey's family into the red, or more accurately, Godfrey himself.
And then Godfrey is practically dead because the damage still follows through, instead of stopping at his phase change.
Funny how there's a noteable missing family member on Radagon's side. His best child that we fight: Malenia, Blade of Miquella, and she has never known defeat.
She took the opportunity to get miquella back from mohgs palace

Preferably it'd be (1) Radagon (2) Radahn (3) Rykard (4) Malenia and (5) Miquella, vs (1) Godfrey (2) Morgott (3) Mohg (4) Godrick and (5) Godwyn, for a fight thats even in numbers. But, guess we'll have to wait until dlc for that to happen
Well you could rationalize blaid and fortissax into the fight as representatives of ranni and godwyn respectively but that would be a little bit uneven but we could add malenia and godrick (preferably starting with the dragon arm) in there to tip the scale lol.

We call that nihealing in the biz
radagon's family is really at a disadvantage here. Radahn can't fight from long range, Radagon deals bludgeoning damage (no boss is weak to it) and holy damage (all bosses are resistant to it), he is vulnerable to fire, which is Mohg's bread and butter, and Mohg is nearly immune to it, taking out about half of Rykard's damage.

17:38-17:49 I love how Mohg is attacking Rykard, Morgott just gets off ten thousand hits, Radagon whacks him once and poise-breaks him, and Mohg immediately turns around and poise-breaks Radagon back. Something about this feels very Loony Tunes

Three endgame bosses against an early, mid & endgame boss. Honestly it was kind of doomed from the start for Radagon's side.
Let's agree on 1 thing, RADAGON AND HIS FAMILY ARE COWARD CHEATERS. Almost all of them have 2 health bars AND Elden Beast is a running coward that only flies to the otherside of the map and spams projectiles.
Considering how Radahn and Rykard have such low scaling, Radagon's family did pretty well. Would love to see this again with Consort Radahn, with all of them on equal scaling of course.
Tier 18 Radahn should have been vanilla. He's already right next to Dragonbarrow and that's 19. Yeah he would have been way more difficult but you can scale the summons higher too. Be more fitting for the most powerful demigod
