Tbh i always try to animate the other back leg and it really just gets me i cant get the proportions right

Great, but this isn't very good-looking or convincing walking animation. It looks like they are trying to go up hill, not walk on a flat surface. Also your back leg isn't lining up with the hip joint correctly. your character has no bum muscles, the hip area is all wrong and differing in each step, so the body seems to float back and forth above the legs. The cat was better, but yeah, you need to learn more about this before trying to teach it, you're sharing bad advice.
We appreciate your detailed analysis! Looks like Josh's mannequin might need a personal trainer for those bum muscles! Thanks for the critique.
