Thanks for this review. I am now of a mind to buy it again, roughly 55 years after the first time! In the original issues of course a stand would have been included. Also, I recall the kit was moulded in yellow plastic, to minimise painting. The kits were aimed at youngsters, unlike most kits now.
I'm going through a real nostalgic period, buying and building kits from the 1960s. I'm doing the Frog Firefly at present. A simple, basic kit, which needs a bit of tlc, but very satisfying when completed.
    Cheers!

Hi Liam. Looks a nice little project not bad at all for a kit in it's 60's. Sure you will do it proud.

Thanks for the history Liam, that makes me one year older than the kit, scary. I find that a lot of these vintage classics require a lot of work to get an acceptable standard. I recently built the SRN 1 hovercraft and whilst I dii a better job of it than I did when I was eleven it took a great deal of work. I would recommend the Bloodhound kit but mainly for the missile and launcher as the landrover and trailer are a bit klunky in my view, cheers.

Hi Steve, many hanks for your thoughts, yes not much detail on the Auster, it was only a fun build after the King Tiger, i guess that’s all we can expect with a kit 65 year old, he Bloodhound looks great. How’s Kathy coming along? Cheers Liam

I'm also one year older than the kit. I built this also, probably in the very late 1960s. Ahh, those were the days. . .
