Angel Reese is the worst shooter in the W and does not affect the success of her team. But y’all got me to watch this podcast that I’ve never watched and probably will never watched again.

That's great news for most of the players coz like Caitlin, SHE IS DESTROYING THE IMAGE OF THE W! Cameron is the real Barbie Girl and a lot of girls look up to her especially with fashion. She & CC are changing the way players are being looked upon. Nobody cared when these people wore mens Hiphop clothes before games. NOBODY!!!

Great show as always. Watching from London
Just a few things to mention
    1) Indiana Fever v Chicago Sky ( Viewing figures are incredible) This was definitely Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese effect) Ref made some poor decisions
    2) Naomi Grima quality classy defender. Emma Hayes definitely like her
    3) Yes Rookie of the year at the moment is between Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese. Caitlin Clark is no 1 draft and is showing how good she can be.
I agree with you both Angel Reese is the front runner based on consistently. Whether Angel Reese is playing Con/Liberty or Indiana Fever she gets a double double or close to it. Defensively ( without blocks) Angel Reese has been immense for a Rookie
    --_-------_-----------------------
After LSU won the championship and the convo turned to the 2024 draft it was said that Angel Reese is not WNBA ready..others where not sure if she would translate
There were concern around her lack of post moves and no having mid range or 3 point shot
However some did say her motor/passion/ Rebounding would translate.
The one thing I notice about Angel Reese in the NCAAW 2023 final against Virginia Tech was potentially how good a defender she could be.
In the 4thr quarter LSU was down by 14 ( I think) Angel had switched places Ladazia and was marking Elizabeth Kitley who was 6.6...Angel had locked Elizabeth so tight..she scored 2 points and that was a free throw
Then scored 10 points at the other end. I knew If Angel Reese focus the defensive side could translate
The doubts where there and that was the reason why Angel Reese was drafted 7 overall
Angel Reese is doing better than expected (especially with the fact there is still a lot to develop)
Another player who could be an outside shout for Rookie of the year.( Aaliyah Edwards) Efficiency in shooting is good. 2 best games was against the Chicago Sky...were she had a double double in the first game with 23 points and 14 rebounds..good battle with Angel Reese
And scored well against the Sky in the second game ..
Aaliyah was coming of the bench in the early part of the season and is now a starter. Just needs more consistency against the other teams. Aliyah has post moves and midrange
    Drafted no 6
Everyone drafted above Angel Reese including Caitlin Clark was seen as being more pro ready
    Apologies for the essay
    Keep up the good work

The thing that many don’t factor in with Angel when looking at her stats when they bring up her double doubles that she is getting every game is that it is due to that fact that she is getting her own rebounds…she tends to just throw the ball up at the hoop just hoping to get it in instead of actually aiming to try and get it to go in the hoop which is why she will have 11 points but 13 rebounds because it took her 3 to 4 attempts to get that one shot to go down…that to me is something she needs to work on because if she is going to help her team win she is going to need to do more then just rebound her own shots…she is currently at 30% FGP from in the paint that is a problem…that to me doesn’t make for rookie of the year. That why just looking at a persons box stats doesn’t show the whole/true picture.

@dylanloveskellytaylor4774 she does get her own rebounds alot but I would love to see that average of rebounds off her misses because I can't find that stat online anywhere. Some games are more than others but she almost always has a double double. She also leading rookies in Defensive rebounds.

I think the level of difficulty in position is a factor, schedule is a factor, all of that. I don’t see how you could possibly pick Angel. Look at historically how many guards have done what Caitlin is doing. Or players in general. And the level of difficulty of those stats comparatively. Scoring and assisting at that high a level at the same time, while running the offense of a brand new team, compared to rebounding and shooting 30ish % from under the basket. Yes it’s a level up in competition, but there is no comparison to the difficulty Caitlin is facing and still doing what she’s doing. There’s a reason the majority of ROY winners since the league began are post players.

Yes, more people tuned in to see these two teams than would have tuned in for any other two teams, but the overwhelming vast majority of the viewership is directly & inarguably due to one player, CC. It's just objectively & provably true, & it's important to avoid gaslighting as a misguided form of protectionism. Both "sides" surrounding CC are saying some crazy stuff, so it's important to stick to the actual facts.

Yes, the overwhelming majority of those viewers were tuned in to see Caitlin, but why is it so important not to give credit to the minority of the viewership who tuned in to watch the other 23 players on the court? Gaslighting indicates some type of petsonal gain. Acknowledging that audience is part of growing the game...not gaslighting.

Sad to hearing about Cameron brink getting injured. Hopefully she makes speedy recovery. Angel Reese is definitely my rookie of the year so far this season. She is more well rounded for points rebounds and assists than Catlin clark. Great show as always

When we're talking about a total package of assists, rebounds, & scoring, it's CC well above AR. CC rebounds at an elite level for a guard, but AR is even more elite, especially with offensive rebounds (many of them her own misses, though). CC, just into her rookie season, is already 4th in the entire league in assists (she leads the league in turnovers), with the scoring edge another huge advantage for CC over AR, very much including scoring efficiency. When you look at which rookie impacts her team & winning the most, it's just not a close call & that's with CC relatively struggling.
