"The day Nigeria wakes up, Africa won't be the same" P.L.O Lumumba
As a retired school teacher, I am so proud of you because you are addressing a serious issue, Not only for African youth but, for all youth of color worldwide!
Nigerian youths are awesome
3 nice my dear but today i realy need u to save me im broke this year due to sickness so i beg u the best with respect to found me 5ghc for food help please
I joined Altschool this year, and it is the best thing that happened to me this year. From not knowing anything about writing code, to writing code, and solving problems like I was born to do it.
Wow! This is what we need today, please don't forget the french speaking part of Africa, Gabon, Cameroon, congo, cote d'ivoire tchad, burkina faso, togo, benin etc... we also need this type of school. A lot of our kids are filled with big diploma that serve no purpose and many do not work or end up in Europe, america, uk, france when they should be building our countries. Tayo pass on the message. The french part is waiting for this type of school. Many thanks for highliting this beautiful project.
You just mentioned a key part of Africa that I feel is being left behind in the projection Nigeria and other English countries are experiencing. French Africa needs to be integrated into this projects. I will share with a couple of my friends in the French Africa that have the opportunity to invest or collaborate with the Alt School... probably a good AI tool that will just translate in french will be a cool tool for Alt.School to look at...
I agree with you, we must work with our Francophone brothers and sisters.
@@simonmayingi9068 Well done man... I wish you all the best... would not be a bad idea for Africans to collaborate with Africans... reach out to this guy... you can both learn from each other....
Much love bro and just like the brother in the video challenge the school literature and current education alignment but for congo
1) graduation rate is problem at least in Nigeria is 600k+ kids in congo don’t even cross a chance in high school
2) Education boys and girl equal education gap most young girls miss out on education in selling at the market
3) if Kongo will be the power house of technology why can’t we have curricular and promoting such education
4) my company is based in USA and Nonprofit but our goal is to open school in disadvantaged parts of Africa
Ever since I was born I never stepped foot in my country the homecoming will be epic 💫🌍🙌🏾 🇨🇩
I’m currently a Student at AltSchool. I like what Adewale said about enjoying the process🔥🔥 I wake up daily with a drive and for the past 7months now, i literally saw the quality of my life improved!!! Beyond getting a skill that would earn me some real money, I’m happy that I’m becoming a person of Enhanced values. Thank You Tayo for sharing this to the world, thank You AltSchool for bringing the best to Africa!!! The world is waiting for our Manifestation!

Nigerians Majoring in Supply Chain and Management
The way Nigerian citizens are making progress in all aspects is very encouraging despite what our govts are doing to bring us down, yet we never give up.
This is transformational!!
He is unto something monumental…
Let him add an endowment arm where people can donate money, stocks, and establish scholarship funds for students who cannot afford even the $30 monthly tuition.
I would be interested in establishing such perpetual scholarship fund in the name of my late parents.
Please I am interested in the scholarship to study Product Management. I would love to reach out to you thank you
I am fully interested sir and I pray God gives you the opportunity to help out. Thanks.
Please I'm interested in getting the scholarship. God bless you as you help others.
This guy is one of the most impactful young Nigerians I have ever met.
His humility is his superpower.
I remember the first time I met Adewale Yusuf at StartUp Friday Abuja, he was covering the programme himself with his camera... ...he was ready to talk to as many people as the network could allow, those were even the days before Techpoint.
You are doing it man.
Hey Tayo. I'm an engineering student at the University of Lagos. Nord motion, an automobile manufacturing company just launched the first ever automobile assembly plant in a Nigerian university right here in unilag. I think it'd be pretty cool if you covered it
The smart brains 🧠 and minds are the future of our beautiful Motherland AFRICA 🌍 👍🌍👊🇳🇬
Lesson learnt " stop copying blindly AFRICA is a unique market!" 😊👍
E learning is the solution to bring education to the masses at scale . Tech is here to stay ,so let’s get on board 💪🏽
Inspiring Story 🙌🏾 Great work Tayo!
I know right ? Can you cover this topic please, I'm not even nigerian. Actually I'm togolese (that's why my english is not perfect haha), but this school needs more exposure. I hope Altschool will have a program for francophone africans too, but until this day we have to support our nigerian Brother. His project is what a lot of youth in africa exactly need !
By the way I really like your channel, especially your recent video about naire redisign, so shout out to you too 👏🏿😸
This guy's projection is bigger than what the APC guys plan to employ (a measly 1m out of 200m) and these are solid skills he is putting out. These are the "rookies" that need to be in charge of leadership across Africa.
This is what I need for 2023.
Tayo, this video was timely.
Business leaders are more important in building nations. Political leaders can only come be in office for a short while to help the process.
As an east Africa living in Nigeria ,this is super amazing,Nigerian youths are so hardworking and talented ❤️,I’m def interested in this ,might as well as sign up 🙌
Naija to the world 🔥🙌
@@Missieartitudetv how long have you been living in Nigeria and what brought you to Nigeria?
Sign up if you can as these skills are 'portable' in that you don't have to stay in Nigeria to earn money from it
This is beautiful really. I am an Altschooler and I would say this has been a wonderful journey for me, so proud of what I have been able to achieve. Thank you Altschool...Thank you Dayo✌

Tayo Aina - I am a white english Man in my late 60s soon to start a 22nd-century future farm in Ghana - 2023 expected - Growing more in less space - I have hope for Arica more then I did have - I not always watch video interviews till the end. But I was compared to do so as this is filled with great goals for the future and your words are GOLD to the youth to take in. The world has less than 27 years before the BIGGEST hardship to come, so NOW is the time to learn the ways of the world and be KINGS of the future - on job fronts - I will require the right individuals always AS a farm of the Future is tech and science-based all rolled in to one taken from old knowlge with new.
Congratulations, from the U.S. All the best to you and your students!
As long as we have Afro-centric curriculums, I’m all for it!!! ❤
When a Nigerian youth is determined to make a difference (against all the odds we have as a nation), he/she makes it "differently". Thanks Tayo. Love what ALT School is doing💪
I am a student at AltSchool's School of product, and It's amazing how learning valuable skills have been made seamless and affordable for everyone. from the vast experience of the instructors, the richness of the learning content and how total strangers interact and help each other grow in the learning circle is commendable. I wish AltSchool had existed years before now. Many youths would have been gainfully employed by now. Many thanks to the AltSchool team for working tirelessly to make Africa possible.
Beautiful, I am selling the idea to my daughter immediately and enroll her if she buys it
Awesome! Nigeria is indeed blessed. Thank God for this guy. What a talent!!!
Proudly Nigerian. 🎉❤
Nigeria got talent,we just need more support to make the work more effective.

YES. I hope and pray Mr. Yusuf succeeds beyond his wildest dreams, as the time has come for such an ambitious African-centered enterprise. May the gods guide and protect him always.
To the individual "EBaysUTube" pushing cryptocurrency (CC) in the comments: Since he was appointed Satan's senior advisor one could predict "EB..." would say something so outrageous, which made even the devil himself blush, so his days are now numbered. Readers please don't invest in CC, a "ponzi scheme" 99.99% of people don't understand. Drug cartels, North Korea and other dubious nations and enterprises, as well as some gamblers and individuals susceptible to "get rich quick" schemes, are involved. "There's a sucker born every minute" and those "pushing" CC know it. Look in your mirror to see what one looks like if you "invest." With due respect.
To the guy in the comments stating the $249 school fee is too much for so many to pay / I agree. But if Mr. Yusuf under-capitalizes his venture, it may fail. Don't let the sun go down on him. To work around that cost, consider the following: Enterprising, like-minded, intelligent individuals like you, and others, can raise funds from banks, schools, churches, businesses, non-profits, governments (all levels) and individuals, to start scholarships. Learn how to do this legally to make sure those monies go to students-in-need who have been admitted. If not you, who? If not now, when? Now is the time. "It's always the right time to do the right thing." Good luck, friend...let your light shine...and God Bless!

I can't imagine what is happening for Africa. All I have to say is thank you to the ALT School Team. I need to tap into this blessing. I am enrolling right away. Much love from Liberia.
Dude is crazy. I love his kind of crazy. Its a revolt against the norm. This is revolutionary. Wow!!!
Love from Namibia
I run a small Whatsapp group doing this exact thing and its absolutely FREE. I am happy and deeply grateful to Mr. Adewale Yusuf. He has set the pace, helping many and leading the way out of the traditional academic system that has failed so many of us. I live in the US and stay in tune with everything Naija. I would really love to be a part of this as this is indeed my passion, to help build the next Tech Giants and Hero's from right there in Naija. I went to university in Nigeria but its not my degree that is feeding me today or fueling my cars and paying my rent. Its is my IT skills and that alone. We need to share this "secret" and lead more people out of the tunnel that our educational system has become.
I was born in Lagos and I'm ready to relocate back home to help make this work.
Lets go!! The fact that he said they would focus on practical as opposed to theoretical makes me smile. Even in America, trade skills are still more important than liberal arts.
This.. Is powerful... Shout out to Tayo for the effort.. You're amazing man.. And everyone doing their bit to change the nation is incredible.. Glad they exist
Proud Altschooler here, I highly recommend!
@grace babalola, the link to the school and info is put there in the dashboard.
Shout out to the main man 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦💥
Amazing video! What a phenomenal young man! He refused to accept the norm, and made himself a maverick that challenges a centuries old establishment by creating and building an educational culture that will impacted the African continent for generations. It's incredible what the human mind can do. God is answering the prayer of those who are praying for Nigeria and the African continent. Prayer changes things!
The energy that is coming from Nigeria is truly amazing. I am so inspired by Nigerian brothers. Keep up the good work and please Tayo send this video to others. We are now getting left behind in Web 3.0 and this school can help Africa produce Web 3.0 developers because this is where the hottest jobs are right now.
This man is of great minds and foresightedness.
43 nice my dear but today i realy need u to save me im broke this year due to sickness so i beg u the best with respect to found me 5ghc for food help please
This is absolutely amazing! This concept has been very successful here in Canada for many many years. And I have seen many friends work so hard in school with no job or experience to find work at the end. May I ask how you deal with the problem/issue of lack of power for students and even the school?
I think it's all online isn't it? And if its only a couple hours a day for working, it shouldn't affect people too much but that is a great question! The HQ most likely has its own generator in case there are power outages. But yeah with students, they just have to make sure they charge their laptops or have access to a computer. I was more worried about cost of Internet access but I guess if the university is only $30 a month, I think that's manageable to be able to buy enough data/Internet. It's such a great concept come to life and will help Africa and people around the world who are a part of it. And once word spreads from intercontinental students, more people will receive support whicj is amazing!
I hope they also employ some students afterwards if they're interested in the content creation/teaching part. That would be amazingggg!!
Love from Ghana 🇬🇭
Wow if we are to get ten of his kind in Africa we can improve the conditions of this continent
May God bless your work for revealing all this awesome people in Africa
At least we will still the hope that mother Africa will survive one day

Tayo, this gentleman has a very clear vision. No doubt, he will achieve his dream to help the world and Africa in particular.
If you have to change one thing in Africa, it has to be the way we see and perceive each other..
Thank you again for a wonderful Podcast to inform the world what Africa is doing for their youth their family their continent in the whole world
Thank you Tayo for this, it is inspiring and encouraging, there's more in us that the world needs to see, we need to change the wrong narrative about Nigerians and Africa at large. 🙌🏼

This is probably my favourite video you ever done. And I love all your videos. I want to donate to help support his vision.
Highly commendable, I’m truly hopeful for the future of Nigeria and most certainly Africa.
Anytime I get notification from you I know am about to learn something new!
This is a great initiative indeed. Since the world is becoming more and more tech, the need for such universities are needed to fill this gap. However, there are some courses that virtual learning will not replace such as medical schools, engineering schools etc and traditional school is still needed for that.
We just need to find the right balance between traditional universities and virtual learning schools in our societies.
I believe he is trying to offer people a starting place for people to develop and education skills most people can grow from there
Hello Tayo, seriously God using uou expose alot of things going on under our noise in Nigeria 🇳🇬 the media are showing the bad side of the country which make alot of Nigerian act as that
Because what we see matter most as humans, I most confess this will really change the ways nations around the world sees Nigeria.

Wonderful because knowledge is POWER. May GOD BLESS you in making Africa a Tech capital of the world.
Thanks bro. 👏 Bravo. That is the way of education.
Africa stop building churches and mosques. Those are distraction places against our development. We have to stop chessing the haven because Africa is a haven. We have to work for our Africa making it a haven so we don't need to run our paradise.
