    Wow, this tutorial was great! Best ive seen so far, hopefully i will stomp it tomorrow. I have one problem, I am doing cork to the left on trampoline, but 360 and stuff on skis. Will this effect my chance to do a cork 7? I think i have to go for the rightside cork 7, what do u think? Pls answerrr

    • @CoachTrifes
      @CoachTrifes  3 роки тому +1

      Hey Buddy ! You should try the cork 7 on snow in the spinning direction you have the best and most experience. So if you can already cork on a trampoline - you should stick to this one for the snow at the beginning :)

    Cheers for this Coach Trifes!! With my cork 7's I fairly consistently land pretty back seat, I guess without seeing a video you can only guess, but any ideas why? I'm assuming something's going wrong with my set, but I'm not sure what.
    Adding a common mistakes section to future tutorials could be worth considering, love the work, keep it up man!

    • @CoachTrifes
      @CoachTrifes  3 роки тому

      hey dylan ! landing backseat is a classic on the C7. It must must be either your take-off or leading arm combined with the upper body "dip" as explained in the video.
      Usually people land backseat when their hip "falls in" - as in being crooked on the take off".
      I try to highlight the common mistakes a bit more, i've also got couple things to yet to announce. A little more detailed video about my direct live coaching + a community based effort. Stay tuned ! but for now rewatch the initiating the rotationa and take off and closely watch my hips ;)

    Awesome tutorial! How does the set change when doing a nose butter cork 7??

    • @jonashofer8476
      @jonashofer8476 3 роки тому

      you pretty much just throw it way earlier and put pressure on them noses

    • @CoachTrifes
      @CoachTrifes  3 роки тому +1

      this question would actually require a whole video on it haha - i'll try to make one asap.
      Long story short: your body weight has to be shifted instead of focusing on dipping with your upper body. You also have to be aiming that your whole set up to the 180 has to be done by the time your at the lip. Ultimately you imagine doing a nosebutter / revert 180 into a switch cork 540. so if you're familiar with switch cork 540 , getting the nosebutter 180 timed right is the only "challenge" you've got to face.

      Safety is the easiest first !! Then blunt after you got the rotation down 🤝

    Yo I'm on the icy east coast and my current ability on skis is frontflip, and spins up to fives...
    However, on the tramp, I throw my corks kind of flippy so like almost a full/d-spin and I dont tuck when I spin, i keep my legs straight out (slight knee bend), only pulling my arms in.
    I have them very consistently. Do you think I can take it to snow? No airbags or anything which is my only fear.

    • @CoachTrifes
      @CoachTrifes  3 роки тому +1

      hey man ! yeah absolutely ! this is how we (generation before airbags etc) learned it on snow. You just remember , tucking your knees in will make you spin faster and keep you more compact. You should never spin with straight legs :) I'm confident if you find a jump that suits you well you can transition it onto the snow ! Make sure you are "feeling" it and don't rush it :)

    • @CoachTrifes
      @CoachTrifes  3 роки тому +1

      also* if you try to spin them more flat , less like a d-spin your flatter towards the floor and you can basically test yourself into the axis , which makes bailing potentially less intense.
