I understand you’re trying to promote kindness and empathy. However, you pretty much destroyed the intention by the unrealistic turn of events over a kind gesture. The job of managing that store could’ve been offered to this guy the next day by calling him and asking him to go to the owner’s office. To be picked up in a black car and treated like a criminal until he got to the island was totally unnecessary. I would’ve really enjoyed the story had there not been such an unrealistic Storyline

Relationships of every kind are based on power. A power struggle if you will.only some types of people don't handle power very well.and that's the problem here.being kind and well mannered is sometimes seen as weak by some.only to others it's seen as a strength .abuse of power normally comes from the under confident who wish to push there insecurities on others as a false confidence. The same could said of all bullies .

I was fired because, -being a beginner and a woman-, I was slower than the men at packing, so I checked out of the system at the end of the standard time, for the company must not pay ne more for the same amount of work. Ok, I made also some mistakes also, but others do them too, (even not new co-workers). I offered to deduct it from my salary. But the company is not interested. The owner knows the story, but as we see: he values workers who have no qualms about demanding their original pay, even when they cause great damage/harm to the factory. 🤷 Strange world
