The man is out here living the dream with an actual original MKII cabinet. That is THE arcade cabinet I would buy if I could just get one. What a game, and there is absolutely nothing that comes close to experiencing the awesomeness of the DCS sound system that those cabinets provide, for despite the amazing graphics and all the excitement and gore the sequel brought us, the sound that cabinet made in the arcade shop is still my most vivid memory of the game. It really stood out back then, I would enter the arcade hangout and would immediately hear the unmistakable sound the MKII cabinet had, so deep and dark.
@@SUBTORR you sold it? I'm building a Mame cabinet that going to be MK themed like Black and White colors. I'm broke so it will be awhile until have people playing on it lol
Thank you for posting this! There aren't many REAL MK arcade videos on here. It's so sad how so many arcades were packed with MK cabinets in the 90's and now they're rare to find if you can even find an arcade these days.
aw man i miss those days when it used to like 20 something people waiting to get a turn at this and emotions used to run high when you lost because you had to step aside and let whoever put their quarter on the machine go next, what can i say the pre-internet days may be gone but they'll never be forgotten just hearing those sounds is making many memories flash through my head, and as for the one thumbs down they must be a 90s or 00s baby growing up in this ere of boredom and isolation.
Fuckin A. You're a god on MK2 and listen to death metal. You're the man. Look up Carnographer, Orpheus, and Xenophonic from Omaha Nebraska. You'll dig em man.
Love the horror movie sound when FATALITY is bloody written in MKII. The og is my favorite but part II is a close second. Mortal Kombat II is the poster child for how to do a sequel game correct in every way.
Awesome job man well done on the complete play through with Reptile its really cool you have the arcade machine. They get hard on the third character on the ladder in the arcade version, but you took them down with no problem.
I wish arcade 1up had put a little more detail.into their cabs. I hate how their screens are upright, and the control panel is perfectly straight instead of dip down. The single speaker thing is auful too. Very cool arcade man.
God you are such a gullible idiot. A.D.D. attention span here... The camera cut out and came back twice. You are a dumb mother kiddo....is it that hard for you to pay attention? i bet you will believe anything.
Damn brilliant play man... I NEED one of these arcade machines lol... They look amazing... I'm a huge MK fan, and have never had the chance to play any of them on a real arcade machine... Cool vid man :)
because i hate that now because people got access to everything, human interaction ain't like it was so yeah thanks for posting this up and the 90s, 00, babies that wasn't around: sucks for you!!!
Fucking classic game an arcade cab i wish i had the space for in my house. I have played some of the console ports and the near arcade perfect ports of MK 1-3 on PS3. This game series will always hold a special place in my heart.
PearlJammer07 same here man, nothing will ever beat those days in the arcades during the 90’s. I heard that 1up arcade are making these but I also heard the quality of these little cabs are shit.
@@Ur2ez4me81 The Arcade 1 Up cabs are made more for the casual gamer in my eyes. I would want a real arcade cab when it comes to playing the classics. If i had a good MAME cab i would be happy with that.
@@The90sGamingGuy Same here... Since I was kid & played this game in the arcades I always told myself someday. Just missed the chance. MK 2 dedicated cab just sold for $600 where I live. Bummer.
Gostei de ver esse cara jogar, meu nivel esta um pouco assima dele mas mesmo assim ficou muito bom porque vc nao gravou inteiro e tb fizesse com os outros personagens tb.
This doesn't look like a dedicated Mortal Kombat 2 machine. If it isn't, what did it use to be? I say this because the design look's odd compared to other MK machines. Just curious.
This comment is way late. Mastering MK 2 against the computer opponents playing left side looks like a few things among many more imo. When the computer has you backed into a corner you are able to get out of it without being thrown and making the jump back glitch look seamless and not repetitive.

it's not a "original" mk2 cabinet. but yes definitely a great game
@@TheWickedArcade It looks pretty legit though, and I wouldn't mind having one myself. Great playing as well.
Sweet machine, many great memories on those MK machines!
I agree. I dont gave this machine anymore but I still plat MK2 on consoles.

30 years in the Arcade Business and I can't quite place that cabinet. What was it before it was converted into a MK II?
Smash TV
Yep, just figured that out, Great Cabinet for that. Those old Williams/Midway Cabinets were TANKS!

What happen with the fights between Millena,Scorpion, Kung Lao y Shan Tsung????
I think i edited those fights out. I really don't remember.
Looks like an old high impact/super high impact or smash tv cab with MKII in it. Not much different from the MK1 cab.
That's correct, it was a smash tv cabinet.
Is that a Smash TV cab you have MKII in?
Yes it is.
