- Proper form is critical to double under success with a jump rope (for CrossFit or otherwise). You can get by with bad form for a few jumps, but you’ll never get to a high level where you can string a bunch together in a row (like 100 or more) without proper form.

I 'sorted' out my errors in jumping rope this week by finding out that by keeping my wrists fixed as per 1:04s, that eliminated my inconsistency and accuracy by around 85%. So I'm VERY reluctant at this stage to start using my wrists. I am a beginner, so I'm not on here to learn double unders just yet, but I cannot risk the frustration of using my wrists - I find that one spins more than the other, both in speed and amount of mobility. Very frustrating !
