Nice ride thank you Couple years back I was on the second half of East rim and nearly got killed because of a family of four decided to do a hike on the Black diamond section with a nice lovely 40 ft cliff that I have to write on And about maybe you later from that one I have a video that I ended up going on phase two turn the corner way too fast with a berm with a jump and broke both my elbows I almost got out of it but I had to write out get my cousin to take me home and that was on July 4th and I had to work the next day
Makes no sense to open this to hikers! Ive had people hiding behind trees jump out, dogs off leash and runners with headphones! Have wrecked there 4 times and only once it was me! Most hikers don’t even realize what they’re getting into! Park is doing both parties a disservice.
Excellent riding on the Advanced section at 14:07. It brings me joy to know there are other sick people like me that like to torture themselves on this technical line.
Lots of fun, some nice steeps, good jump opportunities, berms were nice 👍, only thing was bad the launch deck was a little small but that probably cause a ton of people were there for the grand opening!
Sick🤘 I'm in Cincinnati now left FL behind. I used to jump dirt b4 moving to FL tho. But this is more age appropriate now. I'm getn back in the game man! Nice ride!
The no e bikes on different trails are going to differ from trail to trail due to who may or may not own the last the trail is built on, many trails use or go extremely close to private land and it may have been written in under the original agreement to only have peddle bike on the trail when it was built, another reason and again I don't know but may be e bikes can year up trails more due to the speeds and weight, another reason I have heard is safety if a normal bike can only go say 5 mph due to physical restrictions and a e bike can due 20 then it may cause crash hazards, so to end my run on many reason don't know exactly why!
@@ProjectHnBThe wear on trails has been disproven repeatedly. If that were the case they’d be banned in Santa Cruz and many other California trail systems. I’ve seen aggressive hard tail riders skrrrt berms and make a mess while e-bikes tend to flow through stuff. It really boils down to ignorance. Sure, ban throttle-driven bikes that should be listed as motorcycles, but pedal assist bicycles limited to 20mph? I do 20 on my hardtail, just not uphill. Most of the time I’m not even doing that on the Heckler except on long straight sections.
It’s a national park, they had to work hard to get this built there in the first place for that reason. National parks long considered MTB’s “vehicles” equivalent to an atv or dirt bike up until recently.
As a lifelong outdoors enthusiast in Ohio, I recognize the pointless ups and downs. For once I'd like to climb a hill and be rewarded with a cool view.
Have you rode castalia quarry it's one of the most interesting rides I've been on in Ohio it's nothing to brag about but the views are out of this world for Ohio we have a video on it!
Glad you are back! I thought I saw ya'll on the side of a milk carton was starting to worry.....
Lmao
beautiful Ohio!

Right on keep it up keep it up and us updated. I'm recently taking my riding more serious so well see what comes of it!!
What’s the reason for no e-bikes? I thought that was a Michigan thing. The Oaks Trail in Swanton, Ohio doesn’t ban ebikes.
