It would be cool if the busy box would turn red for off and green for on so I could be sure of it's status.

Hey Devin, I think you mean the BusyBox Button showed the sign status red or green, right? We use red and green now to show "green" command executed and "red" command did not get executed. Bluetooth is a finicky beast. We have firmware updates coming to allow you to have the ring pulse the color of the sign when it's on, but it'll burn through more battery. I'll share this with the developers and see if we can add it as an option for a future product release. Thanks!!

THIS. I turn the sign on and forget to turn it off. The button should light up as a reminder.

@@richardrobinette2914 If you connect the BusyBox to your calendar it’ll turn on and off automatically. Not sure if that helps, but that’s how I use my BusyBox most of the time. The Button will have the ability to stay on in a future firmware version, it’ll be a user choice, but it will be a battery burner if you turn it on. Those lights will use a lot more power so you probably won’t get 6~12 months on the battery. I have mine setup so that one click is “ON” and double click is “OFF” so if I’m not sure, I can just send the command and the BusyBox will change status. That’s way easier for my brain to handle if I’m not sure. Email our tech team for more tips and tricks too at support at busyboxsign.com

@@dmalsobrook1 Gotcha. We are 100% secure end-to-end and comply with all Google/Zoom/Microsoft standards, but I’ve heard some companies are still very strict with Apps on your phone if they own the phone. Bummer. Email us for the best support and thanks for being a BusyBox customer!

Received the button today and it keeps losing connection - and I have no idea if the sign outside my door is actually on or off without looking at my phone... at which point I could just use my phone to control things. It would be great to have an update to this so that if you clicked once it would flash once to indicate it understood the command, and then flash twice for the double click, and then a roundabout for the long click. Just so you know it's actually communicating with the Busy Box. It would also be a really nice update to have the button rechargeable through USB just like the Busy Box itself is. Use the same size connection and you'd be able to use the same cord to charge either device.

The Button blinks a green ring a few times when the command is executed. If it keeps trying (lights going around in a circle) and if the Bluetooth is blocked and doesn’t connect and execute the command, you get a red flashing ring. I hope that helps.

Just got the button and setup. In the instructions, it indicates that the long press can be programmed to set a 30 minute timer of the Busy light being on. I would love to use that feature. But in the app, there is no indication of any way to set a timer. Am I missing something? If not, is that feature still coming in a future update?

Busy Box Button, just spins and constantly looses connection. How to fix? Works 1 of 10 tries.

The busybox button seems to work like shit. It's poorly reviewed everywhere, including the comment section of theis video.

The BusyBox Button is s bluetooth device in order for it to run a long time on two coin cell batteries. That impacts it’s ability to send signals over long distances and through dense objects. It’s definitely not made to work long range. No bluetooth item is meant to work long range. We have a WiFi option coming but for now, using integrations like Google Calendar, Zoom, use WiFi so they are a better option. WiFi drains more power from the BusyBox so you’ll need to recharge weekly for the BBS and every other day for the BBD or run the units plugged in. Sorry for the confusion on the Button. It’s definitely not for every setup. It tend to get 5 star or 1 star reviews and not much in between due to it’s Bluetooth limitations.
