  • hook mustad 94840, size 12 to 16, thread denville 6/0 brown, wings woodduck flank or mallard dyed woodduck, tail brown hackle barbles, body well soaked brown hackle quill, hackle brown neck hackle.

    Nice tie Hughie. That's the dry you caught that awesome brown on huh? Quill or split wing center quill bodies look real, but yes, soaking is a must. Thanks for these great vise to fish videos!

    A very nice natural and traditional tie. Where in Nova Scotia do you live? I just want to try and visualize your surrounding and jog my memories as I have bicycled the circumference after crossing the States and riding the American East Coast from Virginia to New Brunswick. Thank you from NZ.

      I live in a small comunity called woodville just outside of the town of kentville n.s
