A real eye catching army and I love your uniform colours and use of the transfers and flags. The Fireforge range is fantastic. I have built and painted a small Teutonic Knight retinue and they are a joy to work on. I usually undercoat on the sprue with different coloured sprays which really speeds up the whole process. Btw I love the intro from 'Last of the Summer Wine' and 'The Sweeney' at the end.

Absolutely spot on! Love them, great work. I’m going to use your army as inspiration for my KoJ division in my crusader army. Can you remember how many sets of transfers you had to buy? And I can only see Baldwin on the main Fireforge website is that where you got him from?
Cheers, I got a bit lucky with the decals as I had a faulty set so I was sent some replacements. I definitely bought 2 sets but probably got another 2. Baldwin was from Firefox get, they did / do a set of resin characters each has a foot and mounted version. Worth looking around other suppliers to see if they have one.
Nice to see the figures had such an affect 😂 Trees are a mix of stuff I've bought off eBay over the last 10 years or so the last lot I got were from ronny8664 👍
We are using a rule set called Deus Vult, they are specifically designed for the Crusades. Very good but they have an unusual melee system which we are toying with changing.
The Shields are straightforward the rest, especially cloaks and carparisons need a lot of work to get them to mold to the model and blend them in with the paint
You made them look great mate! I'm very lukewarm on fireforge as the figures look very cartoonish, almost Warhammer-like, but your painting really makes them look top-notch. What period are you planning to use them for? They are a bit late in terms of arms and armour for the first 4 crusades, but could be for about mid-13thC?
Many thanks, I'm looking at mid to late 13th Century although King Baldwin IV is obviously late 12th, I'm happy with bending the fabric of time a little bit to get cheaper plastic figures 😁
Beautiful work on these! I love the look of this force all massed together. Inspirational stuff! Thanks for sharing
No problems Dan, thanks for the kind comments 👍

Many thanks Chris, welcome to YG, the Fireforge figurea are really great and suit my style of painting really well.
Eye candies everywhere, wonderful work!!
Many thanks Phil 👍
Great looking collection. I really like the look of those fireforge figures and this certainly reinforces that view. 🙂
Many thanks, I'm certainly looking for an excuse to get a few more 👍
Very nice. Looking forward to see this as it grow.
Many thanks, thats it for Kingdom of Jerusalem but there are more Crusaders planned
Great review of the troops, love the movie, all the best Garry
Many thanks Gary, I must get round to watching it again 👍
What an incredible looking force!
Many thanks, Im very happy with this lot 👍
Gorgeous paint jobs. Ignore the too "Hollywood" comments. These are beautiful and most people would be proud to own them. I am frankly a bit jealous.
Many thanks Andrew, I think the Wargames community in general is quite friendly and I will concentrate on them 👍
Thanks for the video. Good-looking force. I believe that "Outremer" should be pronounced "Ootra-mare", meaning "beyond the sea".
Cheers Graham, one thing I wouldn't recommend Yarkshire Gamer for is correct pronouciation. I'm in Yorkshire, English is my second language 😉😆

Hi, I am amazed by the results of your units and your quality of painting, I can ask you what colours you used (sergeants' and knights' clothes)
Many thanks, the blue colour is based around Vallejo Dark Blue Grey with highlights added gradually 👍
This looks absolutely amazing
Many thanks👍

May I ask which blue you used for the uniforms?
There was a lot of mixing involved to blend in with decals etc but the basic colour is Vallejo Model Colour 70904 Dark Blue Grey
@@YarkshireGamer Thanks
Your mini project would be my 3 year plus major project! 😂😂 Great stuff. Can I ask what rules are you currently using for these? Cheers.

Furioso, great set of rules, so hope lockdown ends soon to get going on them again 👍
