way back when when animation was outside the realm of your pocketbook, i went to college for things like 3d studio max, and cad.. etc. its a long list, lol... and now i find blender, and im impressed. it can do anything ive been able to do in any program designed for 3d modeling, and it is free. and this kid. lol. not so much that kid anymore, has taught everyone over the years to use this amazing tool to do things once reserved for the elite. or 1337 as it is called in leet. thats awesome.
7 people need a tutorial on how to hit the like button! Awesome stuff dude... I've never done any solid modelling other than messing around in Autocad but your tutorials are great. Way better than reading from a book. Thank you!
@Sovvolf Try download 2.5 Alpha 2, if thats the 1 you got. In the render settings tab go to where it says "Display:_________" change to either "Full Screen" or "Image Editor" (Its right under where you can either render image or render animation. Hope i help :)
@puckyhock Super3 is "the man" now lol, he was "the boy" when I first started blender around 2008... Gotta love this guy SUPER3 YOU'RE AWESOME!!!! Keep up the good work :D
@TheAppliantologist Right, anyway i have apologised via PM, i am thankful for the tuts, well the ones where i learn stuff (i already know the basics), i was just pointing out things i didnt like about the video in the 1st place, i even suggested a compramise. I am one of many who like the tuts, thank 3boy for them (i have done in the past) but hate the constant ad at the begining and the slightly low quality of the mic. I honestly didnt mean to offend anyone originaly. I regret the way i said it
@super3boy Yes super3boy , fair enough :) I understand , but my problem is that we have heard it so many times that we're uncomfortable but its okay :)
I'm probably being a little impatient, but I was striuggling with using armatures with stranged shaped objects in 2.49b. I know in blender 2.5 you can disolve objects so I'm thinking it might be easier to use amatures in 2.5 with funny shaped ojects. Although I know lots of people make very complex characters and still use amatures with them quiet well in 2.49. However I was wondering are there any amature tuturials for 2.5 as yet
Also... no mention of my super cool shotgun... no fair lol. Just kidding Super, I need to check on the recent compos. I just don't get enough time to enter them or produce anything of decent quality. Also guys, you need to check out the website. Brilliant place, loads of excellent tutorials and some very talented model work there. Some people (including me) even let you download there models royalty free ( though we ask only for credit) so check it out. A peep couldn't hurt.
hello to all who use blender, i would really appreciate if someone told me 2 things: 1. i want to make an animation that i can later on use in sony vegas, so whats the best file to export it in?? 2.i know this is first day stuff but i just started and wanted to know how can i zoom in/out and how can i highlight a different object to use cause when i use the cube and make another object tht orange dot and reb/green/blue lines stay with the cube and i can't change them no matter what...i need help

Thanks! The way you explain things makes it seem so easy. Everyone else kinda complicated things.
Thanks so much for all your help. Can't wait to get started on more complicated stuff.

great tutorial, thank you so much
Only 1 slight criticism: hard to tell your 2.4 tutes from 2.5s. Add 2.5 to all titles to avoid confusion! I love these
very good video tutorial!

@otofcontroll also ctrl click when nothing is selected in edit mode adds a vertex wherever you click.
