I am glad to tell you this. As a person who has played the Witcher 3, and is currently playing it again on PS5, I can tell you with great confidence that once you eventually play it this year, your faith in gaming will be restored again.
I hate the movement and general gameplay of witcher 3 so much that I can't just bring myself to really enjoy it. I bounced off of it like 5 times already. Maybe there will be a 6th try but holy god damn the gameplay is really bad.
The Witcher 3 is probably the most overrated game ever created, I've never been more bored in a game. After 2 hours of gameplay and being unable to refund it, it left me extremely disappointed.
Fun fact The original developers( I don't know which department) of the Arkham series left prior to the creation of Suicide squad Kill the justice league so that means that this game sucks in narrative and Story is because Rocksteady is now mixed with experienced and inexperienced game developers and story developers.
What bothers me is HOW are some of these new people getting these jobs? If anyone had any sense of what makes a good game (no matter what type of game it is) they would stand up against these people who are putting in these terrible ideas, concepts, etc. Etc. Why is no one checking them and telling them the truth that those ideas will bankrupt any game company but "oh well let's go with it anyways because you guys actually have the best ideas and everyone else is actually the idiots!"

Would’ve been better if instead Wonder Woman being not under Brainiac’s control, it was Bruce. He could put the suit back on and make a deal with waller’s TFX to take down the Justice League with his protocols against them. Would’ve been cool to fight with Batman
You still would have the problem of Arkham Night ending because it concoldences Batman his solo story but the Justice league changes it by making it a story about the team itself.

I love how they had to create a whole new form of mind control just to explain how it worked on Batman, Green Lantern, and Superman three characters that are known to be either immune to mind control or really fucking hard to mind control, pretty sure Poison Ivy, and Darkside are the some of the few Dc characters to actually hold the ability to do that, and I also love how the game literally breaks continuity several times like King Shark and Boomerang being alive

Brainiac uses a gas on Metropolis turning everyone into puppets, the Justice League included, and with them the whole planet is in danger. Bruce Wayne needs to get back to his old self and become vengeance in a last attempt to stop the Justice League, save the world and defeat Brainiac. This story will put Bruce Wayne back into the action as The Batman against the world greatest heroes, later old foes such as Harley Quinn, Boomerang, Deadshot, Penguin and other will join him in a fight for survival that will determine the survival of humanity, a fight that will be know years in the future as the Arkham Legacy. This could have been a way better story to tell and give a proper send off not just to Batman, Bruce Wayne but his incredible voice actor.
If I'm correct, it wasn't just WB Games that did this game, there was also some company called Sweet Baby Inc. It seems they have also worked on Alan Wake 2 and Spiderman 2 if I'm correct, and I'm weary of them. So just watch out for that company as well.
Ironic that Sweet Baby is there to ensure that a narrative isn’t tone deaf for “modern audiences” and yet… they had no idea who their actual audience was for this game. It’s also ironic that they’re a writers guild of sorts that’s all about diversity and inclusivity… yet are the most divisive group of people I’ve ever seen in the gaming industry. I replayed arkham asylum today, such a great game. Not nearly as big a game as suicide squad but you can tell they put effort into every square inch of it. Just goes to show you don’t gotta have a massive map to have a great game and story. The atmosphere was so great as well. I’d rather take a small game with lots of meaning put into it rather than some big game that just has an ok story.

You know, I weirdly would've preferred if Gotham Knights was the Arkham one, and this was a new universe thing. I don't know, if Gotham Knights was just about the court of owls filling the poewer vacuum after batman's 'death', could've been cool. But you gave this game a chance and that's pretty cool

This game shines when you have a actually squad online, also it's not comfier to be cannon (mainly because multivers and didn't mention justice league in the Arkham verse)
You know how the connection with Batman would have made sense? Batman comes out of retirement BECAUSE of the situation in Metropolis, and he is the ONE who helps you fight the corrupted League, NOT a Wonder Woman we barely get to know in the game. But no, that would have been too obvious or, you know, good.
Asylum: PERFECT Atmosphere. It said you would be like Batmanm but it lied. Because you BECAME the Batman City: The Story is mmm. Really good. Not perfect. But compare it to the others it's really good and near perfection Origins: The Best Boss fights you'll ever experience. It'll make you want to fight Deathstroke over and over until you don't even lose health to him. Not to mention. Bane. The Goat Knight: The past games could be said to have nailed the combat. But what makes Knight's combat PERFECTION personified is that it improves how much you can bounce from one enemy to the other. At times this isn't a fight. It's a bloody massacre on their Hospital bills Ssktjl: It gave us a good Batman suit. Different version of the Comics rebirth suit. But besides that. The game was a downgrade in everything the other 4 games had perfected and needed time to make other aspects better. Glad I haven't touched ssktjl. I'll just sit back with only 2 bucks in my wallet and no gamefly to play it

I’m gonna be honest, people keep asking for a justice league game, but I genuinely don’t think that’s an option. Playing a game as the justice league looks nice on paper but trust me it’s not something that would work especially if there were 5 members. Batman is human and you can make a good game from that but the others are majorly op and wouldn’t have engaging gameplay loops which would end up being marvels avengers all over again. Wonder Woman I could see maybe getting a game and it working, but flash green lantern and Superman. Hard enough on their own but all together. Yeah not happening and for good reason…
I have two things to say; First, this game would be so much better if instead as playing as the suicide squad, you play as Wonder Woman trying to save her teammates with the suicide squad being another faction to deal with. Second, it is so sad this is the last Kevin Conroy’s last performance as Batman we will ever hear. It truly disgusts me.

Bruce did return to being Batman at the end of Arkham Knight. Him saying his goodbyes was a lie because they wanted the trick us into thinking that he was going to die.
If you haven't played it before, would you consider getting the Platinum for Deathloop. Such a fun game, same team of people who made Dishonored and Prey are behind it.
My problems with it is that the game is in the Arkhamverse, it should be its own thing in a separate universe tbh. We should have gotten a justice league game instead. Imagine flying around the map as Superman, Wonder Woman, or green lantern, running at supersonic speeds as the flash, or use Batman like the other Arkham games. This was a giant missed opportunity Rocksteady.

The thing is when a looter shooter is done well like borderlands or apex legends, it's absolutely fantastic and fun. Forcing this into what should have been a single player narrative focused game, it's just gross.

An idea someone brought up to help the Batman coming back problem I liked is that he wasn’t initially on the league. The league gets formed and they get taken over by Brainiac forcing him to come out of hiding to help take them down. Then if you have the league live he joins them to make sure it doesn’t happen again
This game surprisingly makes borderlands 3’s story feel tolerable. And that’s bad to be honest. While borderlands is a looter shooter, it actually does a lot to make the guns feel actually unique and different from each other. While with KTJL from what I can tell ‘feel free to correct me’ most guns either have fire rate or damage changes. While with borderlands 2 and onward makes the guns visually different EVEN the same legendary guns. Which opens the way for people who are collectors to farm for the best versions of each gun, but even then the base versions are still good. Meanwhile with this? I can’t tell if there’s anything to differentiate the guns from their legendary status.
Wouldn't it have been cool if this was a Batman game? He's retired and from the shadows he sees the league form and then you have to come out of retirement when they get norted? Definitely wouldn't be my first choice for a next batman game but i think it would at least be better than "It's like The Boys except instead of being clever and tricky they just use guns"
tbh not that bad, i didn’t experience a single bug or issue playing through the entire game, and i thought the story was really good as a whole besides how certain deaths were handled, i also thought the gameplay was fun, didn’t think it would be from watching videos, but actually doing it is fun as hell

I just recently played gotham knights and that game didn't get good reviews but I enjoyed it and that feels like a proper follow-up to the arkham series compared to this game
Now that I think about it, a Batman game where he comes around to the justice league could have been so cool. They maybe could have led up with an Justice league game as a sequel
My honest feelings of this game was it scratched my borderlands itch which is somthing gearbox hasnt done since pre sequal but as arkham fan i wouldve liked somthing that isnt live service focused even if it is a fun one

i personnaly think this game is more than okay in terms of gameplay, graphics, cutscene, easter eggs, and more, but the story could go to hell for all i care. quick note there is a easter egg that says batman will return. hinting that these are corrupted clones of the justice league, that braniac made, and the game dlc will probably be around saving them. so it might make a comeback... hopefully.

You know how the connection with Batman would have made sense? Batman comes out of retirement BECAUSE of the situation in Metropolis, and he is the ONE who helps you fight the corrupted League, NOT a Wonder Woman we barely get to know in the game. But no, that would have been too obvious or, you know, good.

City: The Story is mmm. Really good. Not perfect. But compare it to the others it's really good and near perfection
Origins: The Best Boss fights you'll ever experience. It'll make you want to fight Deathstroke over and over until you don't even lose health to him. Not to mention. Bane. The Goat
Knight: The past games could be said to have nailed the combat. But what makes Knight's combat PERFECTION personified is that it improves how much you can bounce from one enemy to the other. At times this isn't a fight. It's a bloody massacre on their Hospital bills
Ssktjl: It gave us a good Batman suit. Different version of the Comics rebirth suit. But besides that. The game was a downgrade in everything the other 4 games had perfected and needed time to make other aspects better. Glad I haven't touched ssktjl. I'll just sit back with only 2 bucks in my wallet and no gamefly to play it
Perfectly said Rob. They broke everything that was previously built, the Arkham games are my favorite games of all time, and I would have rather have had the perfect conclusion it came to in Knight, than a new game in the same universe like this.

I’m gonna be honest, people keep asking for a justice league game, but I genuinely don’t think that’s an option. Playing a game as the justice league looks nice on paper but trust me it’s not something that would work especially if there were 5 members. Batman is human and you can make a good game from that but the others are majorly op and wouldn’t have engaging gameplay loops which would end up being marvels avengers all over again. Wonder Woman I could see maybe getting a game and it working, but flash green lantern and Superman. Hard enough on their own but all together. Yeah not happening and for good reason…

I have two things to say;
First, this game would be so much better if instead as playing as the suicide squad, you play as Wonder Woman trying to save her teammates with the suicide squad being another faction to deal with.

The thing is when a looter shooter is done well like borderlands or apex legends, it's absolutely fantastic and fun. Forcing this into what should have been a single player narrative focused game, it's just gross.

An idea someone brought up to help the Batman coming back problem I liked is that he wasn’t initially on the league. The league gets formed and they get taken over by Brainiac forcing him to come out of hiding to help take them down. Then if you have the league live he joins them to make sure it doesn’t happen again

suicide squad: kill the arkham verse
This game surprisingly makes borderlands 3’s story feel tolerable.
And that’s bad to be honest.
While borderlands is a looter shooter, it actually does a lot to make the guns feel actually unique and different from each other.
While with KTJL from what I can tell ‘feel free to correct me’ most guns either have fire rate or damage changes.
While with borderlands 2 and onward makes the guns visually different EVEN the same legendary guns.
Which opens the way for people who are collectors to farm for the best versions of each gun, but even then the base versions are still good.
Meanwhile with this? I can’t tell if there’s anything to differentiate the guns from their legendary status.
Dude a Batman beyond game would have been the perfect send off for the series

Definitely wouldn't be my first choice for a next batman game but i think it would at least be better than "It's like The Boys except instead of being clever and tricky they just use guns"

tbh not that bad, i didn’t experience a single bug or issue playing through the entire game, and i thought the story was really good as a whole besides how certain deaths were handled, i also thought the gameplay was fun, didn’t think it would be from watching videos, but actually doing it is fun as hell

My honest feelings of this game was it scratched my borderlands itch which is somthing gearbox hasnt done since pre sequal but as arkham fan i wouldve liked somthing that isnt live service focused even if it is a fun one
