I surfed that wave and puerto and my analogy is. Like two cute twin sisters one is beautiful and nice (Puerto)and the other one is beautiful but naughty (Pascuales) stay stoked boys!!!
Stayed in a ramada for five months back in 1975 it was the best time of my life. I gave two brothers, Nacho & Pacho 16-17, three boards and they went out and learned how to surf. At 69 I can enjoy your surfing skills amigos !
Nice footage. A couple more years of youtube and every decent wave on the planet will be Puerto style: Big hotels, big crowds, and big money. The world will be a sweeter place without electricity.

Yeah that place is magic and treasonous. Is puerto Escondido ugly twin sister lol. Boca de apiza is good too but way more fickle, Ticla is like the Mexican trestles with a left point break past the river… Did you ever surf la llorona beach just past ticla?

We surfed 20 ft plus faces at Pascales 1978 paddle in. A week of perfect waves, best conditions I ever surfed. Intense in the ultimate sense.
