My heart goes out to the little ones still in the orphanage you visited, but the caregivers seem to really be attached to the children...You have a beautiful family, but when the girls reach dating age, I suspect the boys are going to have to go through Dad and two big brothers!!!

I have friends that have adopted thru China, India, Russia, etc. It's amazing to see the changes in these adoptive parents once they get that child in their arms. Of course, this couple had two biological sons...and to open their homes and their hearts to two other little girls is absolutely amazing. Mary & Lottie are cute little girls and your sons are very handsome young men!!! Congrats to all of you! :)

Many of them have a genetic background and there is no fast healing cure.... and yes, China is processing without doubt but what angers me is that you really don’t know what it means to be growing up in an orphanage without a family. China will raise them until they are 18. Really? I admire all the parents who adopt a child to give them a family and all the possibilities they won’t have if they stay there.Like I said, it’s disrespectful to watch an adoption video and tell people that this children should stay where they are and raised by state rather than find a family. Special needs adoptions are vital as long as so many provincial areas continue to believe that things like cleft palates, Down Syndrome and even extra digits are unlucky or undesirable. Nearly 100% of the children adopted by "outsiders" have special needs for which they now can be treated. Please consider that before you look at Americans like big bad wolves. Some friends of mine have adopted a dozen children from China - nearly all older and severely disabled. Since children must leave the orphanages at 14, many end up in human trafficking and suicides. This is not an invented statistic. The world needs to be a better place before people make blanket statements like adoption should be stopped. Until then I'm grateful that there are people whose hearts are big enough to grow their families this way. All blessings to you.

Public Neasmyrni milk and baby cream ( I’ve never heard of that..) is not proper food for a toddler. They need proper food with lots of protein and green vegetables and fruit. I’ve seen children in China being bottle fed till they are six years old, that’s very neglectful. I’m sure she’s being fed the kind of food a child needs now. This is a wonderful family, nothing fake about that!!! I’m sure she have a fantastic life with this amazing family❤️

I'm an American throwing in my two cents here. Demonizing an entire culture because you assume a child's been "tossed aside" for vanity is unfortunate, indeed. In China, people have to pay for all medical treatment in advance. You're unaware of all this baby's special needs, so there is that. There are thousands of stories where families give the child up in hopes that they may receive the treatment they need to flourish or even survive. No one people corners the market on godliness. To assume otherwise is to judge without facts at hand. Please. Let's celebrate that a child who didn't have a family has one now. And if you want to help, donate to organizations like One Sky © or LWB who help families afford life saving surgeries and KEEP their children. All blessings to you.
