- Video: Riding the full service from London Victoria to Ramsgate via Abbey Wood onboard a Southeastern Class 465 Networker unit (465916 with 465165).
The service pattern for the 2023 seaside Networker service went from London Victoria instead of the previous London Cannon Street via Greenwich route. This was the very last of this service type for the calendar year, so this was a case of perfect last minute timing.

I'm gonna love 465 with this my first journey to Ramsgate via Abbey Wood on Southeastern.
Nice video especially the Kent Countryside and Coastal areas never knew these Trains went long distance
When the 465/9s were converted from 465/2s, they operated some Main Line Services with Southeastern Trains, probably as the more faster Class 365s had moved to West Anglia Great Northern trains by around 2003ish.
Looks like there was Guard Mode Activation at Gillingham. I’m glad to see that this journey was onboard a Metro-Cammell 465 as well instead of a BREL one. Keep up the good work.

How does a 465 go to ramsgate how does it go that far I thought I could only go as far as Ashford?
It’s on summer weekends only as it gives people that live far from the beach a chance to visit
