- Join us as two Americans attend our first Indian Wedding, an Indian Sangeet Ceremony at the Rambagh Palace in Jaipur! Also, who is Guru Randhawa and why is everyone so excited?

Before getting invited as Americans at an Indian Wedding, we had no idea what to expect. We knew nothing about Indian Wedding Sangeet Ceremonies and had never heard of the Rambagh Palace in Jaipur until we got invited to this Indian wedding. To be honest I had never heard of a sangeet until this either. I had always known that Indian weddings were supposed to be extravagant but I didn't know that an Indian wedding had an all you can eat and drink concert for an event. On a serious note, this Indian wedding sangeet at the Rambagh palace was INCREDIBLE. Being able to experience an Indian Wedding as foreigners was such a special moment. Also, we were told that Guru Randhawa was going to be performing live at the Rambagh Palace for us. At the time I didn't understand why everyone was so excited about Guru Randhawa at a sangeet at the Rambagh Palace. Now...I get the hype! 😱

I went to an Indian wedding here in America. They had 1000 guests. They told me they ONLY had 1000 guests...It was held at a convention center. INSANE!

Hey mhon, actually food in every country differs with respect to spices they use. It aligns with climate and atmospheric conditions they live in. We indians prefers various spices and herbs in our food. Though it is delicious, It is possible that a foreign person finds it difficult to adapt to it initially. Hence the upset stomach she was talking about.
