Was just going to say something about it until I saw your comment... Also, that 1999 Daytona 300 could have its own forgotten wrecks video, because the claim to fame of that one is obviously the Atwood flip
It was the 2009 Dover 200. Annett rebounded to finish 13th as the final car on the lead lap after starting the race in 42nd. The driver who started in 43rd was Kevin Hamlin, who coincidentally helped guide Alex Bowman to a win at Dover today.
Hi im from Finland and Strong NASCAR Fun ! Great job doing these videos. Watched these long time. But first time subscriping and like. Keep it going. T:Jone from FINLAND
I couldn't be a NASCAR driver. I'd be mad as hell ready to fight after every wreck. At least they'd know I'm okay when I come out and throw my helmet 🤣
Brett Bodine’s Michigan practice crash I remember as that pretty much ended his full time racing career[he might’ve made one or two more starts before transitioning to pace car driver]. Michigan wasn’t kind to Todd either as he had that vicious wreck with Kenny Wallace in one of the races proper[I think the same weekend Brett had his violent wreck], but they were fine.
I know people criticize NASCAR’s current rules and points systems, and there are lots of bullshit everywhere. But the one good change they did was slowing the cars down when caution came out to try and avoid stationary cars that might still be on the track. Though this can be controversial “10 CAR IN 2012/2013” and lead to inconsistency on the plate tracks “TALLADEGA mainly” it has helped compared to racing back to the caution.
Marlin missed 0 races after his 1991 crash at Bristol, but had to sit the rest of the 2002 season for different injuries and Jamie McMurray went on to claim Charlotte in his second career start
Hey there, buddy. I just watched your video and as for Kyle Busch's wreck at Texas, it was the spring race, not the fall race because he was parked for the rest of that weekend due to him wrecking Ron Hornaday in the truck race there. Just thought I'd let you know that. Goodbye!
@@ianmiller5845 Let me rephrase what I said. Kyle Busch's wreck at Texas took place in the spring Xfinity race, not the fall race because on that weekend, he was parked for wrecking Ron Hornaday in the truck race.
If I’m not mistaken, the Kyle Busch and Carl Edwards lapped car incident happened in the same weekend as Kyle’s suspension for wrecking Ron Hornaday in the truck race.
No, that wreck happened in the spring. Denny Hamlin drove the #18 car in the fall Xfinity race at Texas after Kyle got parked for wrecking Ron Hornaday in the truck race the night before.
Correction: 5:21 was 2009, not 2003.

What about NASCAR extractions, where drivers had to be/were cut from and extracted from their vehicles?

Good job finding these! Also, thank god the tires were there at 0:50

Thanks for putting these comps together! Keep ‘em coming - and as you say, peace brother!
I remember Sterling's 1991 Bristol crash. My dad and I began calling him "Burnin' Sterling" after that for the remainder of that season.
Yes these are forgotten
0:48 man said debris and pronounced the S lmao
It’s crazy how much harder the hits look without the safer barrier

Around the 5:45 mark that wreck was around 2007 or after. in 2003 toyota wasn't in nascar
Neither was Michael Annett I’m pretty sure
5:21 I don't think that's 2003
After 2007
@@mikesoct82484 yeah cause HD only arrived in 2008
I believe it was 2009
@@andrewdotmp4 anywhere between 07-10 I think the new car debuted in 2011
@@mikesoct82484 The new car debuted in 2010 at the Daytona Night Race, where Jr won in the 3 car.
Pretty sure Bodine's wreck would've been fatal if those tires weren't there
Good quality
The first crash was scary
It reminds me of the 1999 crash with #21 in Michigan
I really miss target as a sponsor

Hooters bailing ended his career, not that crash. He only missed one or two races due to the crash

Awesome
I wouldn't call about half of these "forgotten"
Oh I remember Brett bodines crash in practice
Ik this a late comment it was the spring race and the fall race he was suspended
The wreck with Schendal and Busch actually took place in the spring race of 2011, not the fall.
Tyler Walker, what a waste. Although he did win the Kings Royal after this
New video idea. Career ending crashes. Not sure how many crashes ended a career but I can think of a few.
That Bodine one definitely
Agreed, however he should not include any fatal crashes
@@nickmangona48 yes that wouldn’t be good lol
That was the 2011 Spring Texas nationwide race not the fall

I'm pleased anytime the 18 car crashes out.....
5:39 that’s 2008 I think
I actually remember some of these
5:24 I think the year is wrong. It's definitely after 2003
Debreeze
New video idea nascar driver crashes in there final race
I like your narration.
Me too.

Nah you’re wrong. It was the fall race. KB was suspended because Hornaday was in the thick of the title hunt with a few races to go.

Watched it to the first crash and once you explained the crash I stopped it. Let the video without your voiceover. 👎🏻
