Good to see you looking a lot safer out on the big bikes these days, even have time to look at alt lines etc. That duel whip was pretty sick, shout out to the lads. Oh, and to the nose case kid too, he sent that!
For the record, I was not ok after my crash down that ledge lol. Ended up with a broken wrist from jamming on that stump and our little buddy Oliver broke his humerus in his crash so both our days got cut short.
Oh man, I'm sorry to hear that. Hope it wasn't your turkey carving wrist. That poor kid.

Oh, man - this makes me nervous just watching it! I have no idea how you guys tackle these kinds of runs at that speed, much less popping wheelies/manuals, and following wheels that closely on jumps. I am content to ride the nice, slow dirt trails behind my house.

Jay you need to come to NH and ride at highland bike park, i ride there all the time its 30 mins from my house. they got the inside foam pit and some good pump tracks and jumps that dont require the lift but also the lift is the best. I have no issues showing ya around and some local trails. come in the late spring is the best. when the 1st open trails are minimal takes them a good month to get them going.
Damn, great video Jay! How much travel does your bike have? I can't believe you were hanging with those dudes on bikes that are probably $10k+ on what looks like a trail bike; really speaks to your skill (and balls) as a rider!

Slope is super intimidating to me just because of how high consequence it is to do tricks on those jumps. Maybe one day

came across that "freeride" skinny thing myself at 12:50, I ended up sticking my tire on that next ledge up, like 4 inches to the left. felt less sus that way with the root and stump on the exit lol. Everything was sus with the leaves though.
Leaves definitely multiply the sus factor by 10

@@jaydalton I think what's lacking in your small wheel content is the lack of "new" in it. Big wheel stuff is often a new park, with new super chill locals and you learning new trails or new techniques. I know it's because of your injury, but we don't see as many new tricks as before on the small wheels, or also lack of themed game of bikes with guests
You should link up with Skills with Phil and do some proper dh trials at speed. That would be rad!

Why can’t that guy believe your bike handled Whistler? He says his mind is “blown”. That doesn’t make any sense to me. Specialized makes great bikes.
Specialized does make great bikes but I’m riding the base model trail bike with 130mm travel. Most people want way more than that for bike park action

I'd like to try a slope bike one day. I owned a dirt jumper in the past and it made my BMX bike feel like garbage when I went from bike to bike. Definitely fun to ride though :)
