This seems to be common in golf and tennis.
Courier is being a bit of a dick here because he knows the answer, and also knows Sinner is obligated through sponsorship to promote the racquet. If he is 'completely honest' and says it's a totally custom spec, certain people won't go out and buy it from their local shop.

He does have custom alteration made to the frame that are not achievable with the specs of the older model... fully custom prostock TGT301.4 @ 325g 33.3cm 340SW
Many pros used some form of an older model and just disguised it with the modern paint job.
plot twist. Yannik can use off the shelf racquet and still beat the crap out of 100+ atp player.
i seriously doubt he could just walk on court with a random retail frame and still beat a top 100 guy.

It doesn't matter if it's not the same unless you're at his level. Otherwise, it won't matter or make a difference if your stroke sucks.
