Blessed with an absolute cannon. Peyton Manning had alittlw better than an average arm but he watched film bro. He can’t succeed if the head coach want his guy to take over. The coach will do anything and tell the owner he don’t want to learn which is not true and set him up to fail. You can’t perform if the coach don’t even believe in you same way Titians coach did Vince Young, coach didn’t want him the owner did. It’s a dog fight

JaMarcus is a bum that has no discipline or work ethic nor did he have the hunger or desire to be great! It’s obvious that he likes to blame others for his mistakes! If he really wanted to be an elite, NFL quarterback, then why did he turn to getting fat and drinking cough syrup, and not staying focused?😂😂😂 I can’t stand individuals that wanna blame others for their fuck ups!

Even at the time the Raiders were a destination where players die/retire, the truth of the matters is, is that Joe Thomas is certified HOF on a team that only won like 5 games during his tenure. Don't act like they were testing your character and that's why you didn't feel like playing.

As a long time Raider fan, anybody who has been for more than 15 years can tell you, the team back then was a huge mess. I’m 100% sure they made mistakes when it came to coaching the young talent they had. But the fact that it’s been 12 years since this man was on a roster, and still can’t take accountability for his mistakes speaks volumes. It’s been 12 years. Just imagine how arrogant this dude was when he was 21.

Everyone learns differently. Some need field work some need theoretical class work. The time wasted trying to catch someone versus playing to their strengths and genuinely attempting to develop the number 1 draft pick is the point. DVD or not they weren't helping him get better

Raiders could have handled it more professionally but these guys don’t make millions of guaranteed dollars just so the organization can “bring them up.”
It actually seems like both sides got what they deserved. He didn’t put in the work, and it’s their fault for picking somebody who didn’t have the maturity and work ethic necessary as well as not coaching and ensuring that he did it.
jamarcus seems to be taking about as much responsibility now as he did then

As a young kid if you was getting success doing this at other stages in your career you gonna continue to do the same thing. As a coach you have to explain the importance of it. Besides being the biggest bust inNFL history, he was just removed as a football coach from his high school alma mater for "allegedly" accepting a check for over $70 thousand dollars that was supposed to be a donation for the school. Instead, Russell cashed the check and still owes the bank $55 thousand dollars that they gave to him when he cashed the check. This guy made around $36 million dollars for essentially doing nothing in the NFL and now he's taking money that was donated to his high school. Jamarcus Russell is a story teller. Maybe he should sell some of his "bling" instead of taking money donated to his high school alma mater. BUST!!!!!!!!!!

I guess i should've said that first! but i think the dvd thing is bad coaching and stupid because it's pointless - he doesnt watch it you just proved he's a lost cause which you already knew. If unexpectedly he does watch it and it's blank, then what? He knows you've basically called him a punk-ass b since you tried that move, and your coach-player relationship is done. It's just not a pro coaching move - so many better wake-up tactics to make him look in the mirror which don't also trash your coaching relationship permanently.
