Well it is a fantasy setting after all there are many cases of khornate blood magic especially in the norscan tribes 40k is different because all the khorne worshiping space marines are just that space marines so all they need is a strength boost while more traditional fantasy races would obviously use magic because there r no super humans (age of sigmar doesn't count)

Soooo way to take my bait..... I've been working on a chaos dwarf army an my wife is sick of hearing about it...so here we go.(I'll keep it short as possible.) A small clan of dwarves were tunneling deep beneath the chaos wastes when sudden shifting of the waste collapsed the tunnel behind them but opened a subterranean chamber. The dwarven lord Khanon ordered his men to set up camp in the chamber, much rest was needed before they could dig their way out. After weeks of attempting to dig they began to loose hope. The more they dug, the more the cavern collapsed. Then one night as the clan slept she appeared to Lord Khanon, not quite a shadow, not quite a women, she darted through the chamber, tasting the air with a reptilian toung. At his feet she placed a lone package an then vanished into the walls of the cavern. As the chilled air filled Khanon's lungs he reached down and found within the package a lone book...THE BOOK OF DEBTS! On its pages a contract between Khanon an the unknown waiting to be signed..... " one slave for two skulls....sign in blood." An so the deal was struck Khanon could summon slaves from chaos it's self, but for every slave used to dig the clans way to freedom two skulls of blood would appear in the books pages. Now resurfaced again, the dwarves wage war to repay their debts, but as every soldier falls another slave is summoned an the books of debts grows again.... THUS FROM THE ASH OF TOO MUCH POT I GIVE YOU..... THE DEMON SLAVERS OF KHANON! pictures on tumbler yo
Also my hats are the biggest....i went for an armoured turban with skull holders thing...and for demons I'm useing flesh toned bloodletters with four arms.
I like the idea you mention in this video that dwarven magic resistance is actually a product of their psyche, rather than their physiology. It seems like a plausble explanation given that the psyche seems to have a lot of power in the Warhammer universe, both Fantasy and 40K. After all the demons and indeed the Chaos Gods themselves are actually the manifestations of emotions, dreams, nightmares, hopes and fears of the people in the "real world". And there's also the popular theory (that I also ascribe to) that the Ancestor Gods of the dwarves were essentialy minor chaos deities brought into being by the collective desperation of the dwarven race during the first storm of chaos, but actually exhibiting mostly benevolent traits simply because the mind of a dwarf is a quite different beast from that of a human or elf, imbuing the manifestations of their emotions and imaginations primarily with honour, courage, stubborness... not arrogance, fear, jealousy, greed, etc. And there is also the particular quirk of ork technology in the 40K universe, wherein most ork weaponry and machinery will simply not work at all if anyone but an ork wields them, simply because the orks believe so strongly in their functionality that they do work despite the fact it should not be physically possible.
Are the Chaos Dwarves loosely based on ancient Persia? A religion based around fire, elite troops called "Immortals", and even the shape of some of their headgear are all things the two have in common.
One theory of Hashut is that he is one of the old gods. You know the old old gods before the gods of the old world Empire came to be worship. This old 'nature' god got corrupted by chaos and thus, while not a chaos god, remained a god touched by chaos, maintaining its independence and simply responded when the dwarves cried out.
Horde units, elite units, light cav, heavy cav, magic resistance, MAGIC itself, guns, the best artillery, monsters, likely powerful tech tree and rites with Hashut, and a potential update to the slave system (which could also be given to Dark Elves). These guys just sound like better dwarfs. They'll be winners if they get implemented in Warhammer 3.

As a Dwarf player I can confirm that giving up your ancestral runic weapons IS giving up your soul. Also the Dwarf army book from the same period explains the Dwarves lack of magic users is that if the accept the gift of Magic they'll revert back to their original form.
You're forgetting that there IS a legal 8th edition Chaos Dwarf army list made my ForgeWorld. It's in the Tamurkhan book. There are also great new units in the book such as the K'dai

The brotherhoods of zharr (black and red, big hats, led by Astragoth ironhand and zhatan the black and no infernal guard) is what I primarily want from CA if they add them. I really love the Chaos Dwarfs for several reasons, the main two being that they're the complete opposite of their cousins, and that you don't really see a lot of "evil" dwarfs in fantasy media. For the most part a dwarf is only considered an antagonist when he's either being really stubborn about something or is extremely greedy, sometimes both!

For a Total War game army they sound like you could use the system from the Medieval 2 Kingdoms Americas Campaign. The Spanish conquistadors have limited selection of European units that are in smaller unit sizes and are quite expensive and slow to recruit but very powerful against other meso-american tribes. To compliment you elite army the conquistadors have access to large numbers of cheap meso american mercenary units as well to supplement their numbers.

"I don't think it's possible for a god to be thrown out of the warp." I don't think anything's impossible in relation to the warp, and surely if the being's weak enough gods as strong as Khorne and his ilk could easily chuck somebody into reality... I don't know as much about Fantasy lore, though, so maybe there's more restrictions on the realm of chaos.
For chaos fuckers to exist in reality, the winds of magic have to be strong enough. Sure, they could toss 'em out of the warp..... what then? it "dies" and goes straight back to the warp. Quite futile.
Did everybody forget about Skarbrand being literally tossed out of the Warp by Khorne? Or did the Bloodthirster not exist back then in the old handbooks?

Chaos dwarves are coming let’s go!
they have a relatively new forge world codex (well a section in a rulebook) and a load of resin units (they existed at the time of the video)
In total war warhammer, chaos dwarves operate the hell cannon. You can see their two sharp teeth
I love the way you talk man, you don't sound like you come from a modern time
Love The Chaos Dwarfs lore. Looking forward to them in Total War
7 years latter
Stay calm everyone, it's happening!
The Bull Father guides our aim!
Do you plan on making a video about the Border Princes?
Hey arch!! We need your reaction to the trailer!!!
actually the dwarfs went to the north are still alive, they are the dwarfs of Norsca like ones of Kraka Drak
"I don't think it's possible for a god to be thrown out of the warp."
I don't think anything's impossible in relation to the warp, and surely if the being's weak enough gods as strong as Khorne and his ilk could easily chuck somebody into reality...
The “rules” (or lack there of) that govern the warp in fantasy is the same as 40k in fact it is the exact same warp as in 40k
Did everybody forget about Skarbrand being literally tossed out of the Warp by Khorne? Or did the Bloodthirster not exist back then in the old handbooks?
Hyped as fuck for these boys in warhammer 3
Who isn’t?
But I hope they’re not DLC
These guys are kinda awesome! Hope they'll make some sort of an appearance in the game!
He sounds so different. I wonder how old be was when he made this. I just watched the Hobogollin video.
