I think they would be fairly similar since I'm not using full power. I've seen users with many different models use those settings. ☺

Lots of patience! I bend it like crazy to get all the crevices and some people use electric toothbrushes!
Any tips on how to clean a black watch band? I have scrubbed and scrubbed, and there is still a white residue. Thanks! ❤️
My biggest tip is not to use them. 😂 Honestly lots of patience and REALLLLY bending it to get into the cracks. Some people use electric brushes as well. If all else fails, pop some black paint in there!

Do you engrave silicone bands an example would be a live strong band do you do that type of engraving?
I haven't done that band specifically, but it would pretty much be the same process as this!
I’m using Inkscape, but how do you get your final design in the shape of the watch band? For example when you check to see what it looks like & there isn’t an outline around it.
Look for something similar to the subtract tool in Silhouette Studio. I'm not super familiar with inkscape, so I'm not sure what it's called.
Why didn't you just subtract the floral image from the watch jig? Just curious.
That's a good question! If I subtracted, the floral design would be basically part of the jig outline. That means it would score the flowers, BUT it would also cut the outside of the watch band. We need the score lines to be a totally different step and I use the knife to just cut the lines from going too far.

Question:: how come you only score the floral ?? Why don’t you engrave it all or score it all?
Scoring runs the line one time (think like tracing the outline). This helps make the design more delicate, but more importantly, it runs MUCH faster since it doesn't have to go back and forth.

How do I find the cardboard settings? It doesnt show for me
I programmed them myself after testing! I do 180/90 but I recommend testing.

Do Glowforge comes with its own software?
It's got an interface you can use, but I still do all my designing in Silhouette.
