Wow. The water conditions can really change rapidly out there. Glad you made it in with no issues. I know I went out of Shallotte inlet last fall and did ok, but coming back in got a little sketchy. Hope to make it out to your neck of the woods sometime soon. Thanks for taking us along.
Yeah, that’s the only scary part about a smaller boat. You really have to be prepared for any shift in wind. Fish have shown up thick this week so get down whenever you can.

Rainy day here and the peaceful fishing video was excellent. Good job coming back through the inlet. How's your other boat doing? I remember you had to have some work done on it.
I ended up selling it because it broke down on me 5 out of the last 7 trips I tried to take on it. Ended up replacing the wiring harness and letting it go because I just was fed up with the $1000 a month to keep it up.
I’ll get a newer boat next time around.

I actually went out of Masonboro but couldn’t make that trip back due to the wind. No choice makes it easier. Haha.
