- International aid agencies still operating in Afghanistan are appealing for more funding to help victims of flash flooding.
At least 300 people have been killed and more than sixteen hundred injured in Baghlan province. Thousands have been displaced from farmland that is no longer usable. The World Food Programme says many of those affected are already in 'hunger hotspots' and their conditions may soon become catastrophic.

Exactly Taliban wants to make war on everyone and its population let them take over why should we give them money??
The population should have fought the Taliban takeover militarily, instead of laying down arms and actually collaborating

Condemns Western influences, but wants Western aid. Sounds like double standards. I feel sorry for the ordinary people affected, but with the Taliban in charge, i seriously doubt that aid would be used appropriately.

Floods may existed before, but that doesn't mean climate change isn't having an impact. It's a matter of degree not all or nothing.

Every canyon on earth is carved by catastrophic torrents of water from time to time, not the drip, drip drip of small changes.
