Congratulations! Check your email for your prize.
Just taking a break. You'll see the codes again soon :)
I can't find the email in any section of it. Can you send it again or something?

I thought you guys would try to choke each other out in every video now? Gotta keep your skills sharp
The Modern Rogue hey I am not the first, but definitely not the last😂😂
The modern rouge teaches you how to get on an fbi watchlist.

Usually I don't like sponsors, but this one actually seems really great.
right? We're way on board for this service. They're great.
Sick sorc. I bet you ain't got no fulmi tho
MisterDoctorBaconman Heheh I sure do :^)
Also do you have any clue why they changed the lab set visuals? I haven't been keeping up with realm news.
+Slendeaway I do not. They're under a different company than kabam now so it likely has to do with new management wanting to change the image of the game or some such thing. A good place to find out would be r/rotmg
Slendeaway a shit ton new stuff now, deca games are pretty gud for new content
*Scans Credit Card
"WHAAAAAA??? THAT'S MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION!"
All thanks to *@Darkjacob* on *telegram* he help with bit coin flips and fresh cc with high balance and it work I don't no what I will do without you ....you are the real deal 💯
I was asked to make a small donation to the local swimming pool, so I gave them a bottle of water...
Hilarious and original.
Heheh
could've made that donation with a privacy burner card ;)
Hilbo Swaggins ahahahaha
Hilbo Swaggins

I frequently purchase "obscene vats of mayonnaise."
When you’re Slav...
Sounds like you're trying to stop Man-Ray.
transformersloverjon you mean lube
PVEntertainment or slaw
Fun fact, those magnetic strips are the same material used in cassette tapes. In fact, you can actually clone cards using a blank cassette, a cassette recorder, and one of those Square card readers that you can pick up for ten dollars from Staples.
A) How was your meal?
B) It was okay, but...
A) *Walks away*
Standard Science 😂
Standard Science I dont get it..
ZacoKick It's from a episode of hacking the system where Jason was intentionally a jerk to the waiter.
Standard Science A)how was your meal
B)ol dude first of all ya sorry
A)*walks away*
Now I'm just waiting for the outtakes where Brian and Jason try to explain to a police officer that they were just trying to put a skimmer on the ATM for a youtube video and they're "Totally not criminals." While Brian laughs nervously.
Lol
Never have I seen a sponsor segment tie in so perfectly with the content of the video, and then also enjoy the sponsor spot. Bravo.
All my friends make fun of me but this is why I'm mostly cash only. Real talk, I'm like one step away from keeping all my cash in a barrel buried in my backyard.
how do you pay for Netflix and stuff then?
Privacy.com! :-P
Brian Brushwood can you resend the email? I really don't want to miss my chance to win and I never got my email.
I've been part of the Municipal Mattress Union for years.
That's why I said mostly cash, I try not to use my card at restaurants, bars, gas stations, coffee shops, mostly places with small purchases under $100 or so.
Lmfao. "Your not gonna go spend $1,000" some actually did that exact thing with my card. Day after a concert simeone tryed to spend 7,000 dolars AT WALMART!
I think its popular at concert vendors. happened to me at a post Malone show charhe showed up for 400 far away. When i got 2 drinks
7000 dollars at walmart? What, the entire electronics section? Someone's car in the auto shop? I know this is two years late but damn lol.
A tv a ps4
MORE MODERN ROGUEEE!!!!! Just me or is this series absolutely amazing!?
So glad you're enjoying it.
You guys are too funny...The moment you mentioned Such & Such store I burst out laughing lol!
First time I'm enjoying an Ad that comes with the video. Great ad pairing guys!
I remember in Hacking The System when Jason got a bad seat and a bad meal, when the waiter asked how it was he said "Ehh" I was laughing 😂 Jason looked so depressed
Every episode I watch I get more convinced that this channel is a front for a criminal operation
Well, not yet.
Nothing's as embarrassing as someone finding out that you purchased an obscene vat of mayonnaise
I'm now more terrified than ever to use any of my cards O.O lol thanks
that's why they show us privacy.com lol but im with you scared shitless
Daniel Greenberg Privacy.com can't help with the skimmers though. You should still be scared even with it.
I can't use privacy.com cause I'm not in the US :( . I knew about ATM skimmers but damn had no idea those point of sale skimmers even existed
Check your local laws and your bank/credit company's policies. You might have similar limits to your liability.
Arshad Mohammed Most countries don't use magnetic strips now, they use chip and pin. The US wants to be special.
This is the second video of yours I'm watching, and I'm so hooked! I never knew I was so curious about these sorts of things but I cannot stop watching!
awesome! Help us spread the word?
LOL!
How ironic that The Modern Rogues are being sponsored by a privacy firm.
Buzz Hammond why?
R o g u e
Worked at a ATM company, all of this is true, and the fake bezel is kinda neat, but my favorite story is where some guys in NY bought an ATM, some how managed to alter it's programing to be able to access it's records, and then another modification to put the machine back into service on it's own after it has a failure. So they truck this ATM to some location with power, but don't bother to hook it up to a comm line. Says it's in service, some one walks up, puts in their card and numbers, asks for money, and then the machine tries to contact the bank, can't, says it can't, and that the transaction has been canceled, but it kept all the card info. Person walks away, machine goes back into service a few mins later.
Bad guys pick up the machine at the end of the day and download the take.
They were caught of course
This is so cool! I just signed up for privacy.com last week happy these guys are working together
Said it before, will continue to say it: The *best* UA-cam commercials are the ones where the personalities are actually enjoying the product! I will say I've bought stuff from Allieexpress with no trouble, but it's basically like Amazon if there was no "Fulfilled by Amazon" option, so you have no idea which "such and such" merchant will just pop out of existence with your information.
ive had my creditcard stolen and the guy bought i think 10 years worth of playstation online access with my card. and the bank didn't make me pay for any of it.
10 YEARS??
roughly £500
The beauty of it all😂
justin butcher 😭😭😂😂
so you got 10 years of playstation online lol
that silver fox is me entirely
"thats what you saw? I saw an opportunity."
When you can't afford the $340 starter package
This show makes you feel like you know how to be a criminal, without teaching you barely anything you need to know to be a criminal.
if you don't wear that shirt in the next episode of Modern Rogue I'll be sad.
Jason: This is all the data that's on here.
Computer: 1
Brian: Wow this is amazing!
Credit cards are generally more protected than debit cards. I know it was touched on in the video, but *be sure* you check with your bank and with your state laws. Some debit cards offer no limit of liability and if you have an overdraft protection on your checking account to pull from your savings, you could easily lose both and get no protection.
This is very important!!!

"Dude, first of all I thought it was mine! *Cuz I'm a modern rogue!*"
i will now buy online such & such as rian burshwood
me too
Cristalveil it's Rian Rushwood dumb ass!
Chowder Stevens well what if one rian rushwood has issues with the law i don't want to get blamed for buying such and such when in fact i did not so there for im rian burshwood a completely different person
Thank you good sirs. This summer I’m taking my whole family on a first class flight to Paris.
Very interesting video, that makes me appreciate that I live in Latvia even more. Magnetic swiping was phased out some 10-15 years ago and it's almost exclusively chip and PIN, though contactless payments are starting to become available. On the Internet - for domestic purchases we are always redirected to banks online banking page for secure authentication, absolutely no sharing credit card details with the vendor. Using magnetic stripe+signature or credit card number and cvs for online purchases seems so unsecure and primitive in comparison.
this felt like a two in one video like, look how easy it is to steal your credit info, then, look how easy it is to secure it. Anyway Great Video! The only ad I'd actually watch
Brian: ”What do you think is gonna be on the card”
Jason: “sex offender”
(2 seconds later)
Brian: gasp! “There it is”
Me:🤔
I just now realized that this channel is mostly Brian and Jason having conversations!
This made me cringe so hard, because I work in the Card Operations department of a bank. Sooo many people already claim fraud on stuff that they've bought.
I hope you've seen a spike on legit complaints now at least 😅
You guys truly are modern rogues. Keep up the great stuff.
Do an episode on just straight up bar tending. Not making specific drinks, but how to talk patrons, get better tips, etc. I work behind a bar every night, and would like to see what the other professionals think.
That's a great idea. I'll bring that up to Trever!
I really enjoy these old calm one-on-one shooting the shit type of episodes.
Thanks for the advice!
**high five**
Modern Rogue and Scam School are like the only things getting me through my exams so THANK YOU!
Cool sponsor especially since its not the same handful of sponsors every big UA-camr seems to tout but shame they only operate in the US :(
Cool sponsor, but not cool that it exists. Credit card companies used to offer that service themselves, for free. They didn't advertise it heavily and quietly dropped it over the years.
I’m pretty sure they working with the fbi “ ight ima head out “ 😂
I watch the Modern Rogue while drinking Rogue beer...I am the ultimate rogue.
Fairly confident you ,is quoted about EFTA. This is applicable to purchases using your debit card only as it has access to your asset accounts which makes it fall under reg E. Credit card accounts offer more protection to the consumer under Reg Z and do not have a time limit on how far back a charge can be. If it's a multi use device (can do both debit and credit) reg E is applicable on charges with the PIN and Reg Z is applicable on charges as a credit card. Working in bank fraud for years there is a clear and distinct difference in the regs and Reg Z is MUCH more consumer friendly. If questioning the store or merchant trust me when I say use your credit card.
I'm surprised that the people who make the software for the skimmer don't send all the data back to them. That would be a lot of information.
scamming the scammers, that would be smart
Normally, I see an advertisement episode on a channel and go "Whatever" but this might be the most interesting thing I've seen from an ad episode.
Glad to hear it!
I love the throwbacks to Hacking the System. RIP HTS on Netflix, you will be missed ;-;
when you sellout but its not selling out because its hilarious
I wonder how much damage we could do to Brian's livelihood if we found out his frequent parker number...
Once I lost my card and didn't notice since I had cash and was using that instead. I only noticed when I checked my bank balance and saw a 700 dollar charge for some random place in Ottawa. I called Chase and they waived the entire purchase. It was a wonderful thing for me and saved me from not being able to pay rent that month.
Now you paid someone else's and chase paid yours. That's why those guys love the game.
What's to stop someone from reporting their credit card be stolen and then using it immediately after to buy a bunch of stuff online?
Jailtime for a little gem called "committing fraud"
Where you gonna have stuff shipped to? Whoever recieves the goods will be charged.
You think they do not check video cameras at the location the card was used you are sadly mistaken they will likely not do much if they see someone that does not look like you but if they at all think it looks like you they will do a full investigation.
"online?"
"o n l i n e ?"
"O N L I N E ?"
Video cameras... " O N L I N E ?"
DampClothes you didnt know? they check your webcams during every purchase, and at night!
I spent this entire episode smiling after the Ryan Rushwood moment.
THIS IS NOT DOMAIN.COM!!!
FWIW, We've never had domain.com as a Modern Rogue sponsor. Only on Scam School.
Brian Brushwood What the fuck does FWIW even mean
Jeff Science for what it's worth
for what it's worth. or Fridays, When in Wisonsin.
crossmenjeff Fridays, When In Wisconsin eh. Duly noted.
Awesome! Now with Privacy.com I can buy all the gunpowder that I want without getting a knock from the FBI again
Finally a video that doesn't involve whiskey
Cryptonat 😂😂😂
Finally? Only 3 out of 66 of our videos have been about whiskey, and each of those were spaced about a month apart.
While technically accurate (the best kind of accurate!) that only 3/66 of your total videos are about whiskey, with about a month between each, it is #also# true that 3 of the last 9 of your videos are about whiskey.
If somebody subscribed to this channel two months ago they've seen 33% whiskey videos in their channel feed from you.
Sure, that's a valid point, although about 1/3 of our videos have been about alcohol of some variety since we started making videos. It's just part of the identity of the show, but we offer a lot beyond that. I suppose my real contention is with the term "finally" as that implies a suffocation of whiskey-based video, which is inherently and demonstrably false.
FFIXMaster Even 3 out of the last 9 doesn't warrant a "finally" imo. They've never released even two consecutive videos about whiskey ever. So why is the OP saying "finally" when the last video that wasn't about whiskey was just 2 videos ago?
Sounds like Jason doesn't have the patience to be a waiter.
Make an episode on boobytraps!!
Rogue Nation boob traps
Rogue Nation titty intanglers
All thanks to *@Darkjacob* on *telegram* he help with bit coin flips and fresh cc with high balance and it work I don't no what I will do without you ....you are the real deal 💯
Get notifications from your bank when the card is used.
Is it sad that my Such & Such is Wendy's?
PG Farber everyone has their "Such and Such" store.
real talk, that kitten taco shirt is dope.
does anybody have the Amazon link for this card swiper for science reasons of course
What even am I watching on youtube anymore this is going to put me on a watchlist🤣
If you have a WiFi icon on your card, it can be skimmed right through your wallet. You can prevent this with a RFID blocking sleeve or wallet. The sleeves are really cheap on Amazon. If your card doesn't have this feature, it has to physically be skimmed, which is where the chip cards come into play. There is no way for them to skim the chip. The common misconception is that having the chip means your card cannot be used 100%. This is not true. Any time you use the mag strip, there is a chance it can be skimmed. Also if you use it online, there is a chance of your information being stolen. The chip is just a way of stopping physical skimming.
I always tell people, assume the location accepts chip until told otherwise. Every time you swipe your mag strip, there's that chance there is a skimmer in the machine. The fewer times you slide your card, the fewer times you run the chance there is a skimmer installed.
This is what the WiFi symbol looks like on a card. cdn.ghacks.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/rfid-credit-card.jpg
Here is a good deal for rfid sleeves on Amazon. www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01F1AGD2C/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1495827395&sr=8-1&pi=SL75_QL70&keywords=rfid+sleeves
If you have a citi Costco card, it has that tap pass feature, so make sure you get a sleeve.
In Portugal the banks offer the option to create 1 time use (or limited time) virtual credit cards within the phone app. They even introduced a service that you tell the site or the cashier your phone number, go to the app and the amount to pay will be there, you just have to confirm, and can use your fingerprint reader on the phone to validate. The services are called MBNet and MB Way respectively.

''A britney spears album!''
''Adult men's sailor moon costume''
''yea but I don't need that''
but for some reason you do need a britney spears album?
you are a strange man Brian.
also Brian, why do you think 1 billion people will have credit cards? In the USA you might need it, but actually a lot of people in the Netherlands (and I can somewhat safely assume other parts of europa) don't need a credit card for every day stuff and only need it for like vacation etc when they need to spend more.
then there are all the kids who won't have one, and the countries (like most in Africa, and probably also a lot of places in Asia/Middle east) where there aren't even credit cards for the every day person.
wallethub.com/edu/number-of-credit-cards/25532/
(that's data just for the US)
but now you are mixing 2 things. that shows 636 million credit cards, but that is almost double the amount of population. so that just means that a lot of people have multiple credit cards, but the US is also the country that uses it the most (if not then 1 of the most). but of the 320 mil people there are already like 80 mil that are still to young for a credit card.
I understand what you mean, but in the video you said about 1-2 billion people have credit cards, not that there are 1-2 billion credit cards. big difference ^^
Was I wrong? I stand by my estimate. Why not look up the actual number?
This is why the move to chip cards is so important. Cloning a chip card is so much more difficult than cloning a mag stripe card (still does nothing about card-not-present fraud, but it's something at least). The sooner we can get rid of the stripes on cards entirely the better.
It does pretty significant things when used properly. One of the biggest loopholes is that swiping is even an option, if that didn't exist you couldn't reliably clone cards for physical use because chip cloning is not easy to do with current technology.
Every time I go to the US I'm amazed that you guys don't have a PIN system. In Canada when you make a purchase with your credit or debit card you have to enter your 4-digit PIN before the transaction can go through. It's like I'm going back in time when I cross the border
MCclimbs but we do? That's quite literally the difference between a debit and credit transaction. A debit card takes a 4 digit PIN number.
Yeah but in Canada we have a PIN for credit cards too
MCclimbs they're instituting something closer to the system you have but it's taking forever! We didn't even have chip cards readers until the last year or so.
Yeah that's what I thought
MCclimbs both my credit and debit cards require a pin because they have the chip in them. I thought that was pretty standard.
Let's be very clear about this: "when you see that https..." means your information is securely encrypted *in the transmission*. That does not imply any type of security on the other end, only that the transmission of data from your computer to the web server is encrypted. After it gets to the web server, it's anybody's guess what might go on.
Could you link me to the skimmer please. It would be greatly appreciated.
BotAdam I think they are avoiding that, they didn't show the software title on the PC, the front of the CD, the front of the product box, or the brand name on the skimmer when Brian swipes his AAA card. You can easily search wireless magnetic strip reader on Amazon for similar products.
Zachary Steele i found it for 99.99 but only 5 were left
BotAdam It's called the Deftun MiniDX3. You can't change anything but you can scan stuff. It's about $45 on Amazon.
I love your name
0:29 I saw a message that said, "at some point we might have to decide on a title card, that day is not today" xD
"it's a C with a wired S on it"
it's called a Cedilha. Don't ask why we use it.
What hell man went a year with a card just got a card because cash was getting to point of uneasy feeling all of my cash is in my ass, then see this shit. DAMN BRIAN, why do you always have to be scaring the hell out of me.
Are you there shwood
I am always here for you, Nicholas' Trombone.
Thank you for humouring my stupid joke.
Did you try turning it off then on?
AHAHAHA I REMEMBER WHEN HE DIDN'T GET THE SEAT!!! 😂😂😂
“But use the burner card so no one finds out”
This just showed up in my recommended and HOLY SHIT IT'S THE SCAM SCHOOL GUY
Am I the only one who finds that speaking intro creepy ??
Dunno, I find it comforting, like asmr...
SO GLAD THE OLD INTRO IS BACK!!!!
13:30 "no one ever finds out" on a video with 13,000 views
Oh look software on a mini CD! I didn't know that still happened!
In South Africa a waitron isn't allowed to leave your sight with a card. They bring a mobile credit card machine to your table and processes the transaction in front of you.
I rarely look at advertisements in UA-cam videos, but this is seriously cool af.
+Quan To thanks, man!
You can buy a card creator off of Amazon like you were talking about, but create physical copies of the burner cards!
Really cool that you integrated the sponsor so well into the episode
That gorgeous Hacking the System reference.
good episode as always boys, i really liked how your sponsor was something that actually was related to the video and not just like oh hey you hate having your credit card info stolen us too that's why we shave with dollar shave club or here is a coupon for audible.com so you can read a book about credit fraud. defiantly will look into privacy.com
I've been watching since MR started and every so often I go back and watch these videos and I get scared for my safety. I also get scared that I'll get arrested for watching videos on how to use credit card skimmers, etc
Brian: "What's something that I would be too embarrassed... to let anyone know I was buying? Uh, ap a a Britney Spears Album!"
Jason: "Adult Men's Sailor Moon Costume."
Brian: "Yeah, but I don't need that!"
Did Brian just admit to *needing* a Britney Spears album...?
Or maybe that he doesn't need a Sailor Moon costume . . . because he already has one.
lol
Awesome look into the scary world of credit card fraud! Good job!
It wasn't a credit card, but a few months ago I had my first ever fraudulent charge on my debit card. Now the fraudster wasn't very smart he/she tried to make a large purchase ($300 which is way more than I normally spend at once) and did it at a physical store in a foreign country (which I have never been to). Somehow they got my numbers onto another card. These were two giant red flags. My bank picked up on it immediately, declined the charge, and sent me a new card.
I remember one time my aunt had someone take small amounts of money out her bank account every month or so, and she didn't notice until they took about £300 out at once, so she got the bank to freeze her card and sorted it out
As a tow truck driver for AAA I'm happy to see that you have AAA
+Jackie Bozarth saved my ass many a time on a road gig
I just realized you could report your card stolen, and then buy a tv or something and proceed to get it waived… yikes.
Not really; if you report your card stolen then they'll deactivate the card. And if "someone" tried to use it then it'll get pinged
I wonder what software they're using to read the card info in this episode. Did it come with the card-reader? 🤔
You taught us to break locks escape handcuffs make explosions and now be a thief gg Brian gg
I worked for a credit card fraud department for 4 years. The amount of shit that fraudsters get away with is ridiculous. There are a crazy amount of ways that they get card numbers too.
Modern rogue teaches you how to be a criminal and then how to prevent it
