We start off fishing a marina right in the city centre and hit up many lock gates in search of a city pike!

5:50 about 3 and a half years ago, I was fishing for perch, got a monster pike under those bushes. Of course I lost it.

Do you need permits for the canals? I'm going next year and fishing the ribble on the way down but wouldn't mind trying canals too

How do you deal with weed in canals? Not losing lures etc
I use 60lbs braid and a heavy leader so if I get snagged up I can pull the weeds out😁🎣
Enjoyed the video but question what would you have done if hooked into decent pike when you dropped lure between boat and canoe ? Not good move imo I assume lots kids follow you channel something to consider
