I bought this camera last Christmas. I hesitated, as it was marketed as a vlogging camera, and I don't vlog. But, the stills are quite pleasing and the size of the body small. Really enjoy using it. Thanks for the review.
One thing I really like is that nice center mounted viewfinder. Rare in a compact camera. I bought it to complement my G9. Almost pocketable. So far I’m loving it.
Hi. So this is my first and only camera. I really enjoy using it for photography but there’s an issue I can’t get over. Ever noticed a banding provlem when using it with a Godox flash in HSS mode especially when the flash is at low stops. It’s quite visible in low lit rooms
I've never experienced the issue that you are describing. I also was not able to use my godox flash on the G100 because of the electronic shutter on the camera.
Thank you for watching! It is underrated, I haven't heard many people talking about it and I thought I'd give it a try. I'm very happy with it. I'd love to see some of your work!
Great video, I love my G100. Your shots are great!! I would like to see a video on your low light settings in this camera. I have a few lenses and would like to get better photos with this camera at street photography, especially in the evening and nigh. This camera is great becuse if it’s size, it’s much smaller than my g95. Again, great video, can’t wait to see more.
As long as you use Panasonic OIS or Mega OIS lenses you won’t have any issues at all. There are two user manuals for the G100 that an owner should read. The G100 is the perfect travel camera. It’s lightweight so you can carry it all day. It even fits in your pocket. It desert attract attention. It takes excellent photos and video. Very rarely is there a need to shoot a continuous video over 30 minutes. And I don’t care who you are. You are not going to do it handheld.
The image quality of the photos is outstanding, I think the 20megapixel M43 sensor is more than enough to capture sharp images. I have no problem with it. Thanks for the question and thanks for watching!
@@BagusWibisono I personally really like the body of the GX9 but you buy the G100 at a really great price used as well. The sensor between the three should be about the same, I do know that the GX9 and the G9 both has image stabilization but the G100 does not. If that's something super important to you, than I would choose either of those. Which ever one you choose, you'll definitely be gaining a fantastic camera.
Thanks for watching! If you're doing a lot of "running and gunning" the g85 might be a better camera, only because it has the in-body image stabilization. Hope this helps!
Hey man! I was able to grab this same Camera for $250 due to a glitch on pricing lol. I’m a newbie when it comes to Camera’s and this is my first one. Did you ever post that update review on this camera? Also since I’m new to this, is the price I got it for a good price or should I return it? I’ve always wanted a vlogging camera so I jumped on this deal 😂. Thanks in advance!
Congrats! You definitely got a GOOD DEAL. Never return it hahaha. I haven't posted an update review but I'm really thinking about doing it since I just came back from vacation and used ONLY this camera. I'll keep everyone posted!
Thanks for watching! I definitely think the G100 gives you a little room to grow as a photographer since it is an interchangeable lens system. So if you get tired of the 12-32 lens, you can always upgrade it.
Autofocus seems to be solid. That's what worried me about not having phase detection. I'm interested in this camera as a vlogging companion to my GX85. Do you think you can use the camera internal mic with confidence in windy situations?
I thought the autofocus did great as well! It was pretty quick to catch my face, especially considering when it was automatically changing the exposure. I'm not too sure about the internal microphones with wind, so I would say that my confidence in it is pretty low. I was using the rode videomicro which is a really good mic for really cheap and I think the two pair very nicely! Thanks for watching!

Thanks for watching! I didn't really look at it either before I bought it, I'm so glad that I got it solely for photographic purposes.

Great to hear! been a couple months since owning it and still loving as well! Thanks for watching.
I have this camera and also did a review. Glad to see others still using this camera. I love using mine. You gained a sub as well.
Thank you for watching! I definitely checked it out as well, it's a fantastic little camera, and I genuinely love having it with me every single day.
Was the whole video recorded on this camera, or did you switch cameras?!
I switched cameras for the talking head portion.
@@vince.g Was it filmed on 1080p 60fps or 4K 30fps?
@@TopTierSatirical some was filmed in 1080p 24p for the vlog and 4k 24p for the talking head part.

Nice review, it is underrated camera however the sensor is good enough for photographers. I have two of them which use for stage photography.

Thanks for watching! It is a PERFECT travel camera, thus being with me at all times! I definitely love almost everything I've taken with this camera.
I love that little camera. I feel so awkward vlogging, but the camera is so small, you can be discreet.
I love this camera too! It's definitely the perfect size and has LOTS of versatility, the vlogging just getting some use to lol. Thanks for watching!
Good video. I think I'm going to pull the trigger on one of these.
Thanks for watching!!
I've been think about getting one for weeks. I'd be interested in seeing some more stills.

@@vince.g thanks for replying, but how about the AF, is it better in g85?
@@bagus8576 Autofocus would be about the same, the G100 is a newer camera over the g85 so the tech may be a tad better but not by much.

of course! Anytime!

Hi! I just purchased this camera 2 days ago and I’m having a hard time transferring my pictures to my iPhone 14, can you help me ?
Absolutely! let me know what questions, you have and I'll try to help out as best as possible.
It’s fine with my 9mm and 15mm.
I'd really like the 15mm!
And my 12-35 2.8 constant Aperture.
