      Hellooo and massive apologies for such a delayed response! I had a lot of comments at the time and struggled replying to all of them on my own. What I meant was that the first time I visited Budapest, I walked through the main road and hiked to the castle, which was unnecessary as apparently I could just go through the Castle Garden Bazaar and then take the escalator and then the lift from there. Much easier. I hope you got that from the video in the end 🙏

    "Not very interested in visiting churches" - is a very sad statement, as (in Europe) there are no better sites to discover the intersection of art, history, architecture, philosophy... Not to mention the obvious spiritual dimension.

    • @danielazziptrips
      @danielazziptrips  2 роки тому +3

      Sorry you feel that way. Everyone likes to explore different things when it comes to travel, and there's no point in questioning others likes or interests - we're all different after all!
      Due to the way my brain is wired, I have very bad memory, so I forget the stuff I learn very quickly. On top of that, I have also trouble focusing on too much information. This makes places like museums, galleries and churches difficult for me to visit. It doesn't mean that I don't visit them or appreciate them, but I can't fully experience them nor enjoy them like neurotypical people. And as I said, everyone is different. The world would be a boring place if everyone visited the same places and just wanted to see the same things 😉 thank you for watching the video!

      I accept criticism and I have made an extra effort to check pronunciation on future videos, but it truly makes me sad to see so many of you hating on me for pronouncing the city with an English accent. In all honesty, the capital city of my home country is Lisboa, and everyone calls it Lisbon - which is not even it's name (I mean, it is, but according to people like you, it is not). I would never hate on them because of that, or because they don't pronounce it "properly". It's rude and inconsiderate to those who are honestly trying to make an effort to get to know my country. I don't expect people to speak Portuguese properly nor even say the name of the locations properly. I am grateful that they visited my country and enjoyed it. You should do too.
